This location sucks regarding their vegan pizzas. The East Lansing one is amazing and when I order there the pizza actually looks good as in this picture. It always looks awful at the Troy location with little to any cheese and like they put the sauce on top of the cheese or something stupid. This picture makes it almost look like real cheese with how well the other location makes there vegan pizza

This store used to make the best calzones, I would get one delivered at least once a month! I ordered two for my friend and I last night, plus 3 sides of pizza sauce. When they were delivered, I checked the boxes (outside, in the dark) to find a total of 3 sides of pizza sauce. On the app and website, it says a side of pizza sauce comes with it. I called the store and the young girl who answered just kept repeating that their kitchen “received an order with a total of 5 items” and counted for me like I was the confused one- “2 calzones and 3 sides of pizza sauce was what we received”. The refused to acknowledge the calzone description online.
Once inside the house, I noticed the calzones looked nothing like what they used to. There was no Parmesan cheese! I called the store again and the girl said “our store doesn’t do that”. I read, word for word, what the description was from the online ordering site, and heard, “Dad! What do we put on the calzones? This lady is saying Parmesan cheese.” and I heard him reply, “No, just butter.” She came back on the phone and said, “Yeah I just checked, Parmesan cheese doesn’t go on the calzones”. I reminded her that I am a customer who paid for and expects what is advertised. She replied, “then bring them up here and I’ll sprinkle cheese on them”.
I will absolutely never order from Cottage Inn again since, apparently, new owners are allowed to modify items from the posted menu at their discretion, and then inconvenience the customer in their attempts to make it right.

We had this location cater for our wedding afterglow on New Year’s Eve. Most other places were not open late enough for us given the holiday. We were also very worried about reliability on New Year’s Eve when we’re were selecting a vendor. When we called to inquire, the owner Sam spoke with me and assured me that our order would be no problem for them and that he would personally make sure that we were taken care of and even gave me his personal number. We made some last minute order additions that he took care of. We had close to 50 pizzas that were delivered and Sam and the team made it happen on time. I could not recommend enough. Thank you for reducing our stress on our special day!

If you like horrendously undercooked pizza, this place is perfect for you. I would much rather eat a soggy Domino’s pizza than ever order from Cottage Inn again because they at least know what a pizza should look like. It’s not even done on top, it looks like a fake pizza. I would have rather gone to bed hungry than order this and I feel horrible I spent money on it.

The new owners are Amazing! Sam and Nora really turned the place around. The food is fresh, hot and DELICIOUS! I can find something good to eat there everyday. Pizza and Grilled chicken salad! The best!

Complete lack of control of their operation. Intense lack of customer service awareness. I showed up at my instructed time of 2:45 to pick up my pizza. Was told it would be about five minutes. 15 minutes later still no pizza, finally get the pizza. It’s the wrong pizza. They then proceed to argue with me about how it got my name on it. I later verified I definitely ordered correctly. One of the men making the pizza was wearing sandals. They also noticed one of there prep fridges had been turned off for presumably hours in the time I waited.
