My friend recommended Mr Hibachi so I gave it a try. Staff was polite despite the rough area. It took about 15 minutes for them to prep my order. More pricey than I expected. $12.75-$13.25 for a combo plate. I was happy with the large ish portion size, though I ate the whole plate in a few minutes. I also got an order of “Buffalo” chicken wings. $12.95 for 12 pcs. (6 wings, ripped in half to make 12 pcs) They are tasty, but typical. The restaurant is fairly stark, intended for pickup, not sit down and eat. The fishtank was cute. A couple of turtles hanging out with some fish. I should have taken a pic, but didn’t think of it

The chicken hibachi was really good. I love how they weren’t super big chunks of chicken like some hibachi places. The fried rice along with it was really good too! The only thing I wish was that the yum yum sauce container was a little bigger.. that by itself was yummy too. Will definitely order from here again!

People leaving reviews about no sauce… that’s not one star worthy. One star means the food was actually inedible. For me, I wish I could do 4.5 stars. Food was great, good portion sizes, $1 for a 3oz sauce cup is elite. Mind you, this was with the buy one get one free option.

I have to give credit where credit is due. I ordered takeout on DoorDash from this restaurant before looking at any reviews and while waiting for my food to arrive, I looked online and was astonished to see the negative reviews they’ve been receiving. I was almost certain the food was going to taste terrible. Fully ready to request a refund from DoorDash. To my surprise, it’s not bad at all. The eggrolls, general tso, rice and chicken dish are all perfectly fine. Is the food extraordinary? No. Is it the best Chinese food I’ve ever had? No. But the reviews of this establishment do not do it justice. This is middle of the road Chinese food and the price is great.

I was not pleased with my order at all. I ordered the lunch menu of general Tso’s chicken and rice. I was unable to choose the type of rice I wanted. & when the food came, it was pork fried rice. I usually don’t eat pork and I didn’t have an option to choose the rice I wanted. The chicken wasn’t bad, but it definitely wasn’t the best.
My coworkers ordered food from here as well, & they didn’t like it.

Today was my 3rd time there, so I decided to try the Steak and Chicken Hibachi. It was the best choice I could’ve made. It was delicious, and the customer service was excellent. There will definitely be a 4th time +.
