I have been here many times and have always had a nice experience. The Nigiri is always fresh and there are many rolls to choose from. If you are not into raw fish, there are also many cooked-food options to choose from.

My only gripe is it’s Gig Harbor! I live in Bremerton and would go here so much more often if it’s closer. (Lol) We went a fee weeks ago for the first time, and wow we were blown away. The portions are large, they don’t skimp on anything. We got the tuna tower (first time ordering something like this and it was amazing) we also got some rolls, there’s a white sauce on one of them, and I swear I would put that sauce on anything. We also got a dessert and it was flaky and delicious. We were recommended this spot from some local Kitsap diners and I’m glad we went!

Love this sushi restaurant. Everything is good here. Today I had the 10 piece sashimi. unbelievably fresh. My friend had the Tofu stir fry. And he thought it was delicious. And he lived in Tokyo for 4 years. Highly recommended.

*Update* 21-July-24: Met the owner, really fun guy, great stories, in-depth knowledge, and passion for Sushi! Even more highly recommend this place solely on the ownership!
I was surprised by the portion sizes and the piece sizes, much bigger than most moderately priced sushi places, and the fish is well sourced. I am pretty certain it’s Japan-sourced tuna.
The service was excellent. Had a great server, and Kyle did an outstanding job above and beyond to cater to the kiddo.
The atmosphere felt like a blend of older Japanese cultural styles with a modern and Westernized take.
Price wise it wasn’t too bad for 3 people came out to around $100 w/ tip. It can cost that much at Genki Sushi with just 2 people. I got the dragon roll & Nigiri plate (awesome deal), and the rest of the fam had a bento, call roll, cucumber salad a few other things.
Overall I think it’s priced appropriately, has good sushi for around here, and is a pleasant place.

We have been to Domo many times in the past two years. All prior experience’s I have given a five star review until this point. The staff have always been wonderful and the atmosphere has always been positive. I will also be reviewing through DoorDash. We placed an order via DoorDash last Friday. Domo completed a five family order, all meals were correct except for mine. I received the wrong meal altogether. Within two hours, I was extremely ill for a 24 hour period. Symptoms of food poisoning… We normally go to Domo for special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, and congratulatory events. However, this time we were ordering as our family just lost our dog of 11 years. Overall, terrible experience. I have tried reaching out to Domo without success. I would very much like a refund for my incorrect order.

The reason why I’m giving 4 stars is because of the sweetness of Mongolian beef(way too sweet). They could have done better with the plating so I could have taken a nice picture 🙂

The chicken breast is not white meat. I will never eat there again. They pass off chicken thigh as white meat but I am not stupid. Shame on them blaming their inability to understand English.

Went for a date night on Saturday (February 4th around 5:30 pm) before seeing a movie and although it was busy, they were able to get us seats at the sushi bar with no wait time. The atmosphere was great because the space seemed small, but it wasn’t too loud. The staff was friendly and diligent, checking in on us often. I got the chef choice #2 nigiri and all of the fish tasted fresh and melted in my mouth. My partner got the takoyaki to share, which had large pieces of octopus, as well as a sushi roll (forgot which one but it was incredible) and fried rice to go.
Can’t wait to go back, and we honestly wanted to go back the next day

The food was okay, mediocre at best. I gave service a 2 only because the waitress wasn’t outgoing or friendly at all. I wanted to know if they had the Toro and he or she didn’t have any kind of expression and looked really upset as if he or she didn’t want to be there. There was no greeting from this waitress, he or she walked me to my table, pointed to the table, and walked away. Came back with my water and left without asking was I ready to order. I had to call him or her back to let him or her know I was ready. It was a very weird situation. At the end, I wanted desert but he or she just dropped the check off and walked away. I watched if he or she treated the other customers the same and he or she did. I ended up leaving. I hope that person has better days ahead. The host at the front door however, was nice. I will not be returning to this sushi restaurant. If you want great service check out The koi restaurant in Tacoma. Great food, great service, and wonderful atmosphere. I only used he or she because I couldn’t tell what he or she was. He or she didn’t introduce himself or herself so I had no idea, sorry. Looked like a guy but could have been a women. In that line of business a smile and greeting go a long way. Just remember, treat people how you want to be treated.

A clean and friendly environment place is pretty popular, We didn’t have to wait long for seating, staff are always nice, friendly and patient. Great variety of food items on the menu from Teriyaki to Sushi. Prices are pretty good, you want quality food, this place has great quality! Highly recommend this place!
