I think with a name like Lockhart, you set yourself up for criticism and have big shoes to fill. This is nothing like Lockhart BBQ, but it was good. The brisket was slightly dry. The sausage was really good, though! I would suggest trying the jalapeno sausage, but I cannot speak much for anything else.

Amazing customer service! I love that I could adjust the quantities to try a little bit of everything. The atmosphere was great to hang out and the brisket was hands down phenomenal. If you hitting a Rangeers/Cowboys game or just in the area. 10/10 would recommend!

Favorite bar from our Dallas trip! We tried the brisket first and I’m not a meat snob like my husband (I could easily just eat veggies all day) and we both were amazed with how tender, juicy and how much flavor was packed in it. Delicious! My husband has to step up his game now. Our bartender Brandon took our experience from a 10 to 100! We had to come back twice to visit. He was friendly, attentive and overall a positive vibe. Thanks for having us and making our trip that much more memorable

Great atmosphere, helpful staff, but the food was not good at all! We got a mixture of ribs, smoked brisket, sausage, and burnt ends, baked beans to share. The best flavored food were the Burnt ends, however, they were mostly fat, so very little meat. It was nearly $100 for three of us to eat and not worth it at all.

Wonderful experience here! Fun atmosphere with great outdoor seating at Texas Live. They were slammed as we went before a Ranger’s game but the service was wonderful and the food was delicious! Lots of cool pictures on the walls- worth taking some time to check that out. Highly recommend!

Some of the best bbq I’ve ever had and the best brisket! This is a go to for me everytime I’m in the area. They have great drinks and super friendly staff as well. Jennifer is awesome!! Super personable and very attentive. Cannot recommend enough!

I have been to Texas live lots of times, and this was the first time eating at Lockhart. The atmosphere is always a vibe. The service sucked here though…. I felt completely rushed when ordering and really didn’t see those sides with those small portions. The chicken was a little dry. My friends enjoyed their ribs and sausage.

Enjoyed lunch with my colleagues here during the week. It was delicious! I ordered the beef ribs that fell off the bone, along with Mac and cheese and blackberry cobbler. My coworkers also enjoyed the pork ribs, sausage, and brisket. I really liked how we could serve ourselves pickles, onions, and sauces. The atmosphere is only 4 stars because it was very loud. Would definitely return for some excellent BBQ!
