The atmosphere at this eatery is fantastic for the area. The restaurant is right on the river. They have outdoor seating. Seating at the bar. They also have plenty or tables and booths.
Our server was very friendly, but kept forgetting about us because she was busy at the bar that was full. Nobody’s perfect. She was doing her best.
They have pool tables you can rent if you enjoy that.
The food was flippin’ amazing!
I got the “Tavernator” burger. It had a lamb patty with bacon, turkey, cheddar, & Gouda cheeses, & grilled onions. All topped with an egg. Inside a delicious bun. It truly was one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. Their chocolate moose desert was small, but absolutely worth every penny of the $9 we spent on it. It was foodgasm worthy.
If you ever find yourself passing through Georgetown, stop in and give this place a chance. You’ll be glad you did.

I had an amazing dining experience! The food was absolutely delicious and came out hot and fresh. The fried fish was perfectly seasoned with a crispy golden crust, served with a lemon wedge that gave it a nice fresh kick. The shrimp were fried to perfection with a crunchy bite and paired so well with the cocktail sauce. The loaded fries were a standout—topped with bacon, onions, and just the right amount of flavor in every bite. The chicken and dumplings, comforting, and full of flavor. Every dish was well-prepared, and the portions were generous. Definitely a spot I’d recommend to anyone craving great Southern-style comfort food!

Stumbled across this hidden gem in Georgetown, SC. My wife Debbie and I were not just impressed by the awesome decor, the friendly locals, the cool billiards room and the abundant beer and drink menu but the food was absolutely spectacular. I had the soft shell crab and the Mrs had the lamb burger. Walked out of the place with a circus in my mouth it was that good. Even better, the service was top notch and it was a pleasure meeting the owner Jackie on our way out who was so nice and friendly. You really feel at home at this place. 5 Stars & 3 Thumbs Up from us. We will be back 🙂

Great location off the boardwalk with a view of the river. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Great full bar with a good selection. Menu had a good selection for everyone. I had the the black $ blue bacon cheese burger. Wife had the BLT. Both were very good. Our server was nice and friendly. Our only negative was the time it took to get our food. It was Sunday so they were very busy.

We were driving back into town and had to stop for a late lunch. We had a furry friend and needed somewhere with outdoor seating. Lucky for us, we found the Corner Tavern. Not only is it right on the waterfront with a lovely view of the water, but the food and service are very good! In fact, we liked every single thing we had, and we and our furry friend were treated very kindly.
Side salads were very fresh, and both the house made vinaigrette and ranch were some of the best we have had. Thai chili chicken wings were just delicious. The Cuban sandwich was the real deal – excellent. Chicken fingers were light and tasty. We highly recommend this restaurant for the food, ambiance and service.

Great place to eat waitress was very nice & helpful @ totally hot. We came in about 30 minutes prior to close & no pressure to push you out of there. Wonderful choice we picked on a Saturday night.

This place was great! Our server was very nice. The food was delicious and came out hot, and plus they have pool and some board games/coloring books for the kiddos. Parking can be tricky but overall it was worth it!

Drove to Georgetown for my birthday lunch. What a great choice we made. My Old Fashioned was amazing and the ladies margaritas were so good they had two. The burgers were delicious, great flavor and juicy! Views right off the docks were beautiful. Our server was great!! She gave awesome recommendations!
