Where to begin! This place is worth traveling for. This was our main destination from out of town and will definitely be back!! We had the chilli fries, grilled cheese sandwich w tempeh bacon, sweet potato fries, and Mac and cheese. We were thrilled with everything! The Mac and cheese is a must order. Can’t forget dessert! Key lime cheese cake, choc. Chip cookies and choc. Mousse were all phenomenal. Plus you can’t get over the quaint atmosphere and super friendly staff. Plant based or not it’s a must try, and repeat!!

I love everything about this place. It was a rainy evening, and walking in was so cozy. It’s small, quaint, and just so warm and welcoming. The one guy working the front was one of the nicest people ever! The place was far from pretentious. If I lived in the area, I would absolutely frequent Thrive. I got the bibimbap with loose leaf tea. It was a perfect and nourishing meal after a long day.

Love the history and love this diner is known for! I took my dad who’s not vegan and he enjoyed his beyond burger and fries, while I had a Reuben with the tasty spicy kale salad. They have a bearable and tangy house made hot sauce that I Ferser took to go. We ended our luncheon with a chocolate cake slice and berry bar. Thank you so much for such homey and delicious comfort food:)

As a vegetarian, it’s so amazing to be able to choose anything on the menu instead of being limited to one or two choices as in most restaurants. My husband had the Ruben sandwich two days in a row! I had the falafel burger and the next day had the tofu budda bowl. Everything was excellent!! Great service and it’s in a cute rail car. Bonus!

Phenomenal menu. My bibimbap was stellar. The interior is super cute, light & airy. The only issue was that it took a long time to be greeted, get our order in, and get our food. Might have been short-staffed, but the food definitely made up for the wait!

I have loved thrive since it opened but am finally moved to give them the fuve star review they deserve when my husband saved me from my cravings by bringing home nachos from Theive diner that absolutely SLAPPED. Just the perfect amount of freshness and spiciness, it rivaled local Hispanic food spots. Even my carnivore husband would not stop stealing from my plate!!!
Thrive is a lifesaver for Berkshire vegans and vegetarians but pleases even omnivores with superb food, adorable ambiance and lovely people. Can’t wait to spend more time eating there without the stress of combing through ingredients, able to just enjoy my food and feel confident it’s cruelty free.

During a recent leaf peaking trip to the Berkshires we found this wonderful vegetarian restaurant. Thinking it was a typical diner with some vegetarian options, we were surprised at all the tasty vegetarian options. The burger was served with grilled mushrooms and cheese that was fabulous. The apple cake was moist and truly delicious. It was so good we made 1 stops for lunch. Looking forward to going back.

My experience at Thrive Diner was fantastic! I ordered the vegan BLT with sweet potato fries, and honestly — it was heaven on a plate. Every bite was full of flavor, and you can tell they really care about the food they serve. One of the waitstaff was especially attentive and made the whole experience even better.
I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in the Berkshires. Highly recommend this establishment!

In the heart of Pittsfield, Massachusetts is this cute low key vegetarian/vegan diner. It’s located near BMC so convenient for a lunch spot. I’ve visited this location 6 times so I have a good feel on the environment. It has all the diner feels. The diner is an old train car turned eatery. It’s a 1936 sterling train car diner. The inside is small with 8 booths, 1 table, and diner countertop seating. The inside was clean and organized. The inside has A/C and clean bathrooms.
The food was great. I’ve had the bang bang cauliflower wings (my favorite), BBQ cauliflower wings, southwest bowl, sweet potato fries, Fresh natural soda (blueberry my favorite) and dessert chocolate chip cookie and oatmeal raisin cookie (my favorite).
The service has been great! I usually have PJ as my server and honestly he seems to run the front of the house and does a phenomenal job. He is calm, collective, knowledgeable and attentive! Out of my six visits only once did it really seem like chaos but PJ wasn’t there the kitchen ran out of stuff, kitchen seem to be crazy and the dining area too!
If you enjoy vegetarian or vegan options then this is a great choice! Enjoy! Cheers
