This place is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you can tell it’s run by people who truly care about quality and authenticity. The aroma alone makes you feel like you’ve stepped right into a small pizzeria in Rome.
The pizza is on another level – thin, crispy, and perfectly balanced between the sauce, cheese, and toppings. You can taste that everything is made with real ingredients and attention to detail. The panzerotti was out of this world – golden, perfectly fried on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside, with just the right amount of filling. It’s not something you find often in New York, and they absolutely nailed it.
Service was warm and friendly, and the staff made me feel like a regular even though it was my first time there. You can tell they take pride in what they do. The place itself has a cozy, welcoming vibe – clean, comfortable, and full of good energy.
If you’re a true pizza lover, this spot is a must. It’s easily one of the best pizza experiences I’ve had in the city, and I’ll definitely be coming back again (and again!). Highly recommended!

Tried Rome to Brooklyn and ordered a Grandma, Cheese, a Meat Lovers, plus 4 garlic knots. Overall, really good pizza. The cheese and meat lovers were flavorful, satisfying, and exactly what you want when you’re in the mood for solid NYC pizza. The garlic knots were also a win.
The Grandma slice, though? Looked beautiful, but flavor-wise it didn’t hit the same for me. Might just be personal preference, because everything else was on point.
Only other thing: it’s a little overpriced… but also, it’s Williamsburg, so what did I expect? Would come back, just might skip the Grandma next time.

Stopped for a late night bite on a Tuesday. Got the margherita slice and a garlic parm pinwheel. Slice was perfect and crispy and the pinwheel was super savory and garlicky. Awesome spot and great food. Will go back again for sure.

This was a nice lil spot – there must have been a leech in my stomach bc I was eating every five seconds. And so of course once I past here and spotted the garlic knots, the Staten Island in me couldn’t say no.
The price wasn’t bad at all either. But given the size (and the fact that my stomach was about to burst) I only bought one.
Sadly, it wasn’t the garlic knots of my memories. It was too dense – not light and fluffy like the smallies I was used to. Thought this was just larger but with the same airy taste.
But as mentioned, I finished it bc i had no self-control on this fateful day.
The service was great, and there was seating enough for about 6 people- nothing out of the ordinary.

Controversial take, but this is hands down my favorite slice in the city.
The pies never miss and the owner is a gem. Everything on the menu hits, but if you haven’t yet… do yourself a favor and try the grandma pep, BBQ or buffalo chicken, and margherita. You’ll get it.
We moved and still citibike across the city once a month for it. That should tell you everything.

This place was just so good. The guy behind the counter was super friendly and patient. Pretty sure it was obvious we weren’t from the area.

Best slice I’ve ever had. Burrata, Pesto and Vodka Sicilian. It was big and affordable at $5.99. Such a premium slice. The dough has a good crunch while yet being doughy at the same time. Please come here!!

not just the best slice on grand street, it’s the best damn slice in williamsburg. great options, buffalo chicken slice is my favorite, and the other options are incredible including the penne alla vodka. great and friendly staff, the owner is such a hardworker and is so welcoming to everyone in the neighborhood. excited to check out the newer location in greenpoint every neighborhood would benefit from Rome to Brooklyn
