By far the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had.
I ordered the pork noodles and received five tiny pieces of pork—so small they wouldn’t even fill an infant. When I mentioned this to the waiter, he responded while chewing food, and I literally saw food come out of his mouth as he spoke. He said, “Yes, there’s pork,” and just walked away. I assumed he was going to bring more since there was practically none in the dish, but he never came back.

The whole experience felt like I was on candid camera. What a joke. If you feel like tossing your money away enjoy your stay here.

This is my usual Chinese-Korean restaurant in town but the last visit was disappointing. Our order was mixed with another table’s. We ordered 쟁반 짜장 and received 삼천 짜장 instead. The server apologized for the mistake and gave us the original dish. It was clearly served to another table. The noodles and sauce were already cut and clumped up. It was not busy so I expected a little better service. In contrast, the 멘보샤 plate (sliced French baguettes topped with shrimp cake) was amazing. Dipping sauces were provided. I believe they were siracha Mayo and sweet/sour sauce. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a rich savory appetizer. Overall, I recommend Sang Hi for locals craving an authentic Chinese/Korean cuisine.

Could have more side dishes.
Good portion but the pig feet salad is bland, even with sauce. And the noodles are too fishy and pork rice is too salty.

Jjamppong is great, recommend giving it a try!
However the other rice dishes we ordered was not distinctive.
The fried squid, priced at around 25$, had thick batter, and it was too much for 2 people. It would be great if they offer a half portion

Walked in on Sat evening. Not one person greeted us for over 10 mins. They looked and saw us standing and waiting. Not a single word. I wasn’t waiting there for fun. Walk over and say something like “we’ll be right with you”. Over heard them on the phone telling somebody that people are waiting. Yep. My friend and I were the only ones waiting. Still hadn’t been greeted. I guess they didn’t want us to eat there but I’m petty so we stayed. Food isn’t anything amazing. It’s ok. Doesn’t make up for poor service.

Always see Korean people dining here. Deep fried pork with sweet and sour sauce is excellent. Jamppong is also very good. Chajangmyon was good. This dish was better before. Excellent service.

It tastes so bad that I wouldn’t eat it even if someone paid me to.
Absolutely do not eat it.
I also placed a to-go order, but they couldn’t even understand it properly.
I honestly never want to buy food from here again.

*WOULD RECOMMEND*

For a Chinese-Korean restaurant in the suburbs, this place was beyond my expectations. The place is pretty big and located in a convenient area by the Assi plaza. They have a pretty extensive menu with a page just for noodles. The food was good and well portioned. Service was good too, the waiter constantly refilled the pickled radish side dish for us.

*DINNER*

Jamchamyon – combo of chajangmyon and jamppong in a divided bowl. The chajangmyon was soooo good. Love the deep blackbean flavor. They even give extra sauce and onions on the side if you wanted to add more. The jamppong was good too, plenty of seafood in it. Recommend this dish if you want to try more than one item.

Squid Tansuyook – deep fried squid with sweet and sour sauce on the side. The squid pieces were big, and fried hard. It was a bit tough to chew but we also just dipped it in the sauce instead of pouring the sauce over it which may help soften the crispy exterior. May consider getting other version of this like the pork.

*VERDICT*
I would come back again and try their other noodle dishes.

Food is decent. Depends on what you order.

The 짜장면 is definitely better than the 짬뽕 here.

Service. Depends on who you get.

Atmosphere. It’s ok. Nothing special.
