Vibes were great! Beautiful interior and ambiance. Music was lit Customer service was great, and we appreciated the overall experience. The only thing that caught us off guard was the gratuity fee. We didn’t notice it on the bill at the time, and after our card was charged we realized the total was higher than we had anticipated. Since we weren’t aware that gratuity had already been included, we had also added an additional 20% tip.
This is a great business, and we enjoyed the visit. It would just be helpful if there were a clear heads-up about the included gratuity so guests can review the bill accordingly. The food was also interesting and made for a unique experience.

Came here randomly one nigh after hearing about it from friends, and they didn’t disappoint. Was able to find street parking right out front, seated immediately, and the service was great. Best of all in addition to the good food, was the dj, LaPooh playing a mix of old school, soca, and hip hop.

This restaurant gives off a true Manhattan vibe, with stylish décor and warm, low lighting. It’s an excellent choice for an anniversary, birthday, or any special occasion. The food is impressive— I had some of the best calamari I’ve ever tasted.
I ordered the salmon, which was served with four asparagus spears and a sweet chili sauce. Keep in mind that since this is considered a steakhouse, most sides are sold separately unless you’re ordering a dish like shrimp and broccoli or something similar. I ordered a side of mashed potatoes which had a nice creamy texture, but still lumps at the same time.
For drinks, I tried the Tropical Sunset and the Le Chai Hibiscus. Both were flavorful without being overly strong, and the hibiscus drink had a lovely, noticeable floral note.
Overall, this is a great restaurant to try in Brooklyn if you’re looking for an upscale atmosphere. There’s also a bar area if you’d like to just stop in for a drink.

I went out to celebrate my friend’s birthday, and it was amazing! The food was delicious, and the drinks were on point. The service was fantastic, with high energy and great vibes. For dinner, we had the steak, pineapple rice, and spicy Kung Pao chicken, all of which were outstandThe appetizers were also incredible—definitely loved the calamari and shrimp dumplings! Definitely on the top of my list!

We brought my son here for his birthday and had an amazing time. Special shout out to Latifa, the young manager, who made our experience amazing. Our server Alex was excellent, he made our night wonderful as well. We were a party of 6 so we had to choose the prefix menu. Usually I’m not a fan of prefix, but this one was very good. We had spring rolls and chicken wings, both were great. The chicken wings had a nice hint of lemon. For our main course we had kung-pow chicken, fried rice, and noodles with chicken… Sides were broccoli and mashed potatoes. The broccoli was delicious, and I’m not one to rave about broccoli. Actually all the food was above par. Thank you to the whole staff!!!

Went last night for a late dinner with my girlfriends and was immediately impressed. The entrance is stunning and the whole space is beautifully designed—huge, but somehow still cozy and intimate. You can tell a lot of thought went into creating the vibe, and it definitely delivers on ambiance.
This spot has been on my list for a while, so I was hoping the mixed reviews weren’t true… but unfortunately, they were. The food just didn’t live up to the setting. The apps were okay, and my sweet & sour chicken was fine, but nothing memorable. My friends ordered the beef & broccoli and shrimp & broccoli—both classic dishes—but neither could get through more than a few bites. Pretty disappointing, especially considering the upscale vibe and pricing.
The silver lining was our server, who was super attentive and made sure we were well taken care of all night.
Overall, this place has so much potential, but the food really needs some work to match the rest of the experience. Fingers crossed they step it up, because I’d love to come back if the menu improves.

This is a hidden jem. From the time you walk in the door youbare welcomed and greeted by the hostess and staff. Drink orders and appetizers were promptly served then came our main entrees. Everything was served hot and the portions were satisfying. We tried wings Thai salad and combo appetizer plates. We had the king fish drunken noodles and Singapore noodles along with sweet and sour chicken and they were all very tasty and we were pleased and satisfied with all our various dishes. After dinner we chatted with the manager who wanted to talk about our experience which we explained was great. The place has great staff and nice atmosphere and im sure most people will enjoy

Valentine’s Day experience was terrible! There was a prefixed menu that we were unaware of when we booked our reservation. Took 1 hour to receive our appetizer and another hour to be served our main course when the main course arrived we were served the sides and told they were out of filet mignon. We were uncomfortable the whole time because the tables were so close together my partner had to get up every time someone had to walk past & the waiter had his butt in my partner face as he’s serving the table next to us.
I must say the food is amazing this was my second time eating at Lei chai my first time was great and the food was amazing but yall need to get more organized when planning special events.
