Came through drive thru & the lady working it was EXTREMELY RUDE because she wants to get my drink order wrong! Said I ordered a small, tried showing her my mobile app order & she refused to look at it. Y’all need to hire nicer people with better customer service! Will never come back to that location. Cashiers refused to greet us even after I brought it to thier attention, my order for a number 1 & number 4 took at least 15 minutes.
The entire crew was too busy engaging in personal conversations rather than getting orders right. The food that I ordered was not right and they decided to lock the lobby doors so no new customers would come in when the dining area only had one person there. An embarrassment.
I’m assuming the bad service started when we came in and I decided to order at the register rather than the kiosk.
I wish all these other fast food restaurants would hire the young adults that’s chic fli a hires, because there customer service is always phenomenal…

Horrible customer service from start to finish. One of the employees actually argued with me because my name was wrong on the order—even though I didn’t enter it. If you ask me whether my name is “T” and it’s not, don’t get mad at me. I was side-eyed and watched her shake her head like I was the inconvenience.

The employees were openly arguing with each other about orders being wrong, creating an uncomfortable and unprofessional atmosphere. No one seemed to know how to run the drive-through, which is why I had to walk inside in the first place. Every employee had an attitude and stared into your soul like YOU were the problem to their unhappiness.

To top it all off, my order was wrong, and thankfully I caught it before leaving. It’s not the customer’s fault if the staff hates their jobs—if that’s the case, quitting is always an option and I encourage all of them to do so, definitely bottom tier, but I have to remember that it’s Sumter. I will never go to this Wendys again.

We were not greeted and had to ask if they would take our order. The response to our question was one that expressed irritation. We ordered our food and had to wait over 20 minutes bringing it to their attention that we were still waiting. We received our food and unfortunately the food was cold. How can that be, when we were waiting there for it. Buns were not toasted and fries were cold also a part of our order was missing. They also closed the doors so no one else can dine in, it was around 2 o’clock in the afternoon. We have heard pretty bad things about the location but decided to give them a chance but unfortunately seems to be a pattern which is sad since it is a new location

Did an online order so I figured they would be able to get the order correct. I guess I was asking too much. I ordered 4 10-piece nuggets 3 spicy and one regular, they missed one of the spicy ones. Got a sweet tea when I ordered and unsweet for a diabetic and the cherry cream drink we ordered showed up as a regular orange soda. Worst service ever.
