Food was subpar for how long you uave to wait… The service was slow and when I asked how much longer the staff said they didn’t know. When I asked another staff memeber they just ignored me. I had to wait almost an hour of a pick up order. They’re is only 7 people at the bar and 2 of the 11 tables had guests. Not recommended.

Great food! We went on Hawkeye game night and enjoyed the $.75 wings. The wings were good, sauces were awesome. Appreciated they accommodated our group with only an hour notice. Good job and good food! Wish they put catfish on their menu 😉

Greek salad was great as well as the Ruben sandwich. We had great service.
The only down side for me is that it smells of pines old or string smelling cleaner. You know the place is clean!Maybe get something unscented.

Hamburger was not good meat, cooked to my liking, fresh tomato and lettuce, but definitely a frozen patty that was poor quality. My husband’s crispy fish was okay, not crispy, and poor choice of bun, it fell apart, but the fish itself was tasty. Onion rings we good, but pretty small portion for $8.50. The highlight of our lunch was our very attentive waitress. She was busy, but always right there when we needed refills, asking if we were good.

I tried the Cellar for a second time hoping for good food and it was a major mistake. Went with family for a Friday dinner. It took almost an hour and a half to get our food. I had the tenderloin and beer battered fries. It was the worst tenderloin I have ever had. Greasy, overcooked, old gray meat. Yuk. The fries were fair however my wife’s fries should have been thrown out. Her fish sandwich was bland. The staff was nice but overwhelmed even though the restaurant was only half full. Overall the food was awful and there was not enough staff for the restaurant on a normal Friday night. One of my kids ordered 2 grilled cheeses with no fries ($16). Unfortunately I had to reduce my rating from 3 stars to 1. I will never be back.

I got a mushroom and swiss Burger. I figured I also like burgers so I didn’t say anything. Unfortunately the 1/2 lb burger was overcooked dry preformed patty that tasted frozen. My wife ordered the rubin that she said was ok. I might be back but the burgers were below average at best.

My husband and I found this delightful establishment while in town for a funeral. As it was a Monday night it was quiet, we were 1 of 2 tables. There was a wonderful view of the river, it was very clean and welcoming. My husband actually asked if it was a new restaurant. Our waitress, Jessica, was amazing – very friendly, prompt and helpful. She made recommendations that we decided to try and were not disappointed. The food was delicious, the bourbon bbq sauce is amazing. We look forward to making another trip so we can try more items!

Came from out of town and always likes to eat at local restaurants. I got the chicken salad, crispy chicken tossed in buffalo sauce and ranch, salad was VERY fresh, tomato’s were perfect, chicken was amazing, cooked just right and crispy! One of the best salads I’ve had in a long time. Others in my party food was just as good!
