Impressive, being my 1st time I walked in with Brisket on my mind. My waitress immediately came and asked for my drink order. Mind you this is an extremely popular place. And was very crowded. But adequate seating. She brought my beverage quickly and then recommended the special. Chicken Fried Steak, 2 scoops of mashed potatoes. One with cream the brown gravy. And Mac n cheese. The chicken fry was literally outstanding. Not a thin cut of meat. But very tender with no visible mechanical tenderizing applied. I will eat here again.
Just had lunch here for the 2nd time. As before it was very crowded again. Which states a lot about this place. But my addition this time is the staff. Friendly, Courteous, Professional, to sum it up they’re a bad ass team. My waitress Rachel was phenomenal. If I could hire this team in the field I could eliminate a sizable portion of my payroll. But not going to because this is a great kept secret. Don’t want anyone else now to know.

If you would like to drink there and talk with you loved ones I recommend here. If you want to eat here plz don’t. My husband and I were served food that we couldn’t identify or eat. I could have made a better meal for my husband honestly.

This is what you expect when you go to a Texas BBQ. I’ve been here a couple times now. The ribs are spectacular. The brisket is tender and juicy. The service is exceptional although you might have to wait a bit because they’re busy but it’s well worth it as the ladies are personable and the food and drink comes quick once your order is in.
If you want a suggestion outside of the meats I’d go with “The Big Papa” it’s a Texas Toast Grilled Cheese Sandwhich with creamy Mac and Cheese and your choice of Ham, Brisket or Old Fashioned. I haven’t had the ham but the Brisket or the Old Fashioned on this sandwich were amazing.

Just got done eating at this place with my wife and the service was great, but the food was terrible. The sausage that they used is from great value from Walmart and the Mac and cheese. The brisket. Was so tough? I could barely chew through it. Maybe I was here on a bad day. I don’t know, but I would not recommend

Awesome place!! Stopped in with a large group waiting out a lightning delay for a high school football game, and we are so glad we did! Food was great, atmosphere was so much fun, but the best part was our waitress Summer! She was fabulous, took great care of us! Highly recommend you stop here if you are in Kermit Tx., and be sure to ask for Summer!

First try our waitress forgot our sides and took an hour to get me my food. Just now, I ordered the big frito pie bowl that the current menu describes as fritos with cheese and old-fashioned on top, I get back to the hotel to a plate of fritos with cheese on top. Called and was told it was my mistake and the meat would be an extra $2.99.

Food was excellent! The brisket was perfectly tender and great flavor. Mac and cheese amazing, thankful for a dressing other than ranch. Service was off the hook and they were super busy. Nice to have a BBQ place that you can be served and not moved through like cattle.

Excellent food with a nice atmosphere. If you’re lucky, you’ll meet Tucker the Beagle and get to give him some pets. I had the sliced brisket, with pinto beans and tater salad and a tea. My food came out hot and fast, and the portions were big. I was also given a healthy portion of sliced onion, pickles, and jalapeños. Everything was tender and delicious. This place has plenty of seating both inside and outside. They have a banquet room that will probably seat 150 people comfortably. I will be back soon.

The food is amazing. I haven’t had anything bad thing yet. My favorite thing on the menu is the shrimp cocktail and the pulled pork baked potato!! It’s a little pricy but definitely worth it. The only down side is the service. It’s a hit or miss depending on who’s working. Over all its one of the best places in town to grab a bite to eat!
