You immediately feel their dedication and professionalism. Just watch them – I don’t understand the negative comments from some – probably who have never worked in hospitality themselves, the comments are of lunar nastiness.
Hard to choose between dishes – I had the opportunity to eat the whole menu. The biryani en croûte is an absolute wonder! Whether you crave moules-frites or an authentic Indian dish, everything is prepared with care and love.
The atmosphere is warm, the service attentive. A unique address in Mexico City that deserves to be discovered – two cuisines, one level of excellence.
I ordered the classic **chicken korma**, and it was outstanding: rich, creamy, perfectly spiced with that genuine depth of flavor you rarely get outside India. The **biryani** was fragrant and cooked just right. To round it off, the **chai** was spot-on: aromatic, perfectly sweetened, and the ideal way to end the meal.
Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and true to traditional recipes. If you’re craving real Indian food in CDMX, don’t miss this place, it’s worth seeking out!
**5 stars** : highly, highly recommended!
As someone from India, I usually steer clear of Indian restaurants while traveling—there’s always a fear of disappointment. But after a week in CDMX, my colleagues convinced me to try this place, and I’m so glad I gave in.
The food here genuinely rivals some of the best Indian restaurants back home. Rohan and his team have created something truly special. The bhel puri was a flavor bomb—crunchy, tangy, and beautifully balanced. The beetroot cutlet (I’m forgetting the exact name) was the real showstopper—I could’ve easily eaten a second round, but I was too tempted to explore more of the menu.
The almond korma chicken tasted like a cherished family recipe—rich, comforting, and deeply satisfying. It instantly transported me back home.
What made the experience even more memorable was the passion with which Rohan explained each dish. His attention to detail and love for Indian cuisine truly shone through—I walked away not just full, but also having learned something new.
Highly, highly recommend this place. If you want a real taste of Indian food—crafted with care and bursting with flavor—you’ll find it here. I know I’ll be back every time I visit Mexico City.
Thank you, Rohan and team, for bringing a slice of home halfway across the world.
I guess it will be great for the community looking to experience a very authentic Indian cuisine, but we’re Mexican and couldn’t enjoy the spice. So, ask for the least spicy dishes and let the staff guide you. Service and ambience were adorable. Unfortunately we had a bad night and had high expectations of this place we found on our way back.
It was late when we left and we were still hungry and quite unsatisfied. It was late to find another place to eat something else, we were also scared to order more food extra spicy.
If you want to eat Indian food in Mexico City this is the place. Malai chicken takes the crown.
