As we were passing through Coos Bay, we were looking for a local place with pizza and beer and good prices. Super happy we found Walt’s. Great selection of drinks, food, places to sit, and things to do or watch. Thanks for having us and for the yummy pizza!

I walked in and was immediately greeted and welcomed. It was a seat yourself place, quaint but very obviously well loved. As I was sitting down, regulars who came in were greeted by name. A wonderful atmosphere. Staff were absolutely amazing. I got the elk burger. Now, I’ve been traveling all over the world and this is quite possibly the best burger I’ve ever eaten. The bun was toasted to complete perfection, the burger eas flawless, I highly recommend this place to anyone stopping in Coos Bay or even just the general area for a great lunch. Theres plenty of seating and once again, the staff here are top notch! Also, sorry for the half picture but it was so dang delicious looking right when it arrived I couldn’t help myself.

Wife and I had our anniversary in the Coos Bay area and we ended up here two nights in a row. Great place! Great service! I wish I could remember the names of our bartenders. They were exceptional! The food was outstanding! We had a tri tip slider meal. 2 sliders each for $10.00 each. Cilantro slaw, trip tip and God knows what else…..but it was the best tasting slider ever!! I also ordered a Reuben sandwich….don’t judge! Very, very good! Highly recommend! Great atmosphere and you don’t feel like an out of towner

We went here looking for a beer. Were we in for a treat, the bartender was very personable and the food hit the spot just right. We were here during the day and the place was full of locals enjoying themselves and it was obvious they frequented the place. If I lived here I would too! Highly recommend if you are looking for a local place to relax in.

Outstanding local pub and bar. The expansive menu has something for everyone and “dad gum” the food is excellent. They have an Old School Beer tap list at $2.50 a pint. They have scratch made menu items every night of the week. We were greeted by Damon, the beer buyer, and he made us feel right at home. Shannon, our server, was friendly, talkative and a very good bartender. Every employee we interacted with was friendly, professional and took pride in providing great service. Gabriel never hesitated to ask if we needed anything. This place has a great vibe and possesses everything that one would want for a chill friendly experience.

I like to check out places I haven’t been before, so lunch today was at Walt’s Pourhouse. It’s a Sports Bar, but I’m not really into sports and I’m not really a drinker (lol) but I thought I’d check it out anyway. I was pleasantly surprised. Got the Greek salad and a bowl of clam chowder. Chowder was good, nice cream base and not gelatinous like some places in town, and the vegetables in the Greek salad were really fresh. Thumbs up!

A couples of old high school friends and I were meeting up for lunch and to watch Oregon play football. One of my friends still lives in Coos Bay and recommend Walts. GREAT CHOICE. We ate there both Friday and Saturday afternoon and all I can say is that their clam chowder was out of this world. From the first bite to the last ……THE BEST. The staff was on point (WONDERFUL). They were not just fast and efficient but downright nice. Whoever is the manager………don’t you change a THING. Larry (our friend)…THANKS FOR PICKING THIS PLACE.

We have come to love this place! The food is always on point! The soups have been so yummy, including this cauliflower & white cheddar soup! Probably one of my new favorites On special today 2-9-22 was this Quinoa fried shrimp, and they too are delicious and cooked perfectly! Then my guy ordered the elk burger with sweet potato fries and we did ask for the burger medium rare, it was a little over but still absolutely delicious, and melt in your mouth! I appreciate the wait staff, Damon (not sure of spelling) but he and the bald guy he usually works with are our favorite servers!! They always greet us as soon as we walk in the door busy or not! Thanks you guys, keep up the good work! We appreciate you!

It was clean. Our waitress was friendly. The spinach dip with deep fried pita was my fave!♡ the reuben was good. The elk burger could’ve used some seasoning. But overall we were well taken care of.
