We found what we were looking for – an Authentic Uzbek restaurant. A Uzbek person recommended us to visit this restaurant, so we went for lunch today. The food was delicious, we tried a variety of different dishes, and they were all great tasting. After we finished our meal, the chef came out to greet us. We thanked him for the great food that we were served. Our waitress Marina, was very good and suggested a lot of good choices. We had Tashkent Wedding Pilaf, Meat Manti, pumpkin and meat Samsa made in Tandoor. Overall, a great experience, Great place, and very pleasant people, highly recommended and good prices as well. Will be back for sure to try other dishes.

I recently visited Uzbek Kitchen Osh in Hollywood, FL with three friends. We ordered several main courses along with salads and desserts. Even though there was no Uzbek chef at the time of our visit, the food was still very good and delicious. We all enjoyed the flavors, presentation, and overall design of the dishes.

The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a subtle touch of Uzbek national décor that creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We truly enjoyed both the food and the environment, which gave us a nice introduction to Central Asian cuisine.

However, the service needs serious improvement. We visited during lunchtime, and we were the only customers in the restaurant, yet the server repeatedly walked away before we could finish placing our order. This happened several times, and I eventually had to ask her to please stay and listen until we were done ordering. There was also a mistake on the final check.

Despite these issues, I believe the restaurant has great potential and will improve these shortcomings in the future. Overall, it is a good place to experience a taste of Central Asia, and I would consider returning.

Never having tried Uzbek cuisine, my Miami friends decided on this option of the litany to choose from in Downtown Hollywood – and was it indeed a delicious choice! From the Tandoori Bread (a bit salty), to the wine, to the skewers (Lamb & Liver, so yes, you can mix and match!) it was all so tasty! The best part is that it was much more affordable than what was expected – especially with how beautiful the interior decor was. The server was also attentive and did a great job hyping up the food. I would definitely recommend – especially if you’ve never tried this cuisine before.

The service was mediocre, 18% service charge for pouring the water yourself, inattentive behavior and moving around plates on the table yourself. Solid 3 stars. Food was okay but nothing special. The lamb kebab was quite nice though.

My first time doing dine-in here and wow… I won’t be back. First, everyone received their main entrees at random times. Second, I waited over an hour for my entree and the restaurant was empty. If you can’t make an order in a reasonable time, I think it would be more professional to warn guests ahead of time. Customer service was cold and inattentive, as other reviews have mentioned. There was no apology or warning that my food would be over an hour late. I’m sorry but that’s not how we should treat customers. Their Plov is okay. Their Naryn was flavorless. I ordered the bishbermak a while back for delivery and it also tasted like nothing. Definitely not worth the $30z After this experience, I will stick to Grandma’s Secret for Uzbek food.

Response to owner : As I said in my review, this was my first time dining in so the main reason I’m writing this review is because of the customer service. Which by your response, is an owner and staff issue. Yea, left as soon as the naryn came out, and did not eat there so yes, it was an hour wait which was not discussed. If there was an issue, like I said, your staff should have warned me. I can’t read your mind to know that you were out of supplies for the dish. I said the$30 naryn and bishbarmek were flavorless, I’ve only ordered them once and never again. You can check my record. I do enjoy your vegan samsa though. I have no reason to advertise another business, I obviously don’t know them, I just don’t want other people to deal with your awful and unusual customer service. And of course the people I was with tipped, that’s what we do in America. We also usually provide warm customer service here at restaurants. And as you can see in the photos, we have appetizers out, some entrees, and two of us ate much later than the rest of the group. and I’m so happy I left an honest review so that others can see what type of establishment and owner we have at Osh Tea room.

I had an amazing experience at Osh Tea Room! I ordered the plov and a samsa pastry. Both dishes were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The plov was rich, aromatic, and comforting, while the samsa had a deliciously flaky crust with a savory filling that paired so well with the sauce.

The presentation was beautiful, the portions were generous, and everything tasted authentic and fresh. On top of that, the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it a wonderful place to enjoy a meal.

I’ll definitely be coming back—highly recommend Osh Tea Room if you want flavorful, satisfying food that really hits the spot!

Only one table was occupied when we got in-got busier as we ordered food.

All you need to know based on what we tried:
1) Meat samsa – Yes. Delicious and yummy.
2) Chebureki – Yes. Ate it at home, took it to go.
3) Plov – Yes. Nicely done.
4) Achichuk salad – was ok.
5) Nan (lepeshka) – was warmed up and tasty. Have to finish it while it’s still hot/warm.
6)Black Tea- good tea. Though the weird glass cups it is being served in – one can get burned. Be careful.
7) Kuksi- it is not kuksi. Google how it should be served. The flavors were off. The meat was vinegary and it is supposed to be served ice cold in a metal bowl. Was not eaten, but we paid for it.

Overall impressions:
1) Would come back to try other dishes.
2) Single waitress seems stressed when she has to serve everyone with the influx of guests.
3) Service suffers as a result of point 2)
4)Ordered items to go, gratuity was charged on that too.
5)Based on above, there is no desire to leave more gratuity than 18%, which is automatically included.

Notes:
1)Asked and, supposedly, the chef is from Uzbekistan. Take kuksi off the menu. You should know better.

2)Asked the waitress where they get yellow carrots for plov. Care to share? Genuinely would like to know.

Osh is great!! Come hungry and bring a few friends, you’ll want to sample everything. Tea was good as expected, but the presentation and flavor of the Turkish coffee was divine. Got the chicken shawarma as well, extremely juicy and flavorful, highly recommend eating it with the avocado salad. Tandoori bread is a must.

Delicious and affordable food — a great choice for lovers of Uzbek cuisine (and if you haven’t tried it yet, you absolutely should ). Our waitress, Guzel, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The service was sincere and attentive without being pushy. The staff clearly knows their stuff and genuinely cares about the guests. Highly recommended!
