Really good food. I had the stuffed chicken marsala with fettuccine. My wife had the chicken parm with penne pasta. Also good. Didn’t care for the sweet taste of the house Italian salad dressing. Service was very good.

Took 5 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge us, they just walked around us like we weren’t there. We got empanada to start. They were excellent & the only reason they got 2 stars instead of 1. I ordered shrimp fettuccine alfredo. The “Alfredo”sauce was, I’m guessing water & oil with a touch of milk. The waitress brought me some thicker sauce, which was the same thing with a little more milk or cream. I ended up getting the pasta with the pink sauce, which was ok at best, very bland. We got dessert, the tiramisu from Walmart is better than theirs. Tastes like a pre-made frozen mess. The zeppole was good & fresh. If you are looking for great empanada this place has them( just know the cheese empanada is blue cheese). If you’re looking for Italian, find somewhere else.

We had a group of 7 for lunch as we wanted to try this place out. It was ok, the atmosphere was like that of most strip mall restaurants. The server was nice and pleasant, she was pretty busy but still managed to take care of us. The food was good, not my particular favorite but many in the group said they would definitely be back. I would like to come back to try their pizza.

Had dinner with husband and it was prime dinner time. Walked in and only waited a few minutes to be seated, hostess very sweet. Our waitress approached us and took our drink order and also our dinner order, good idea on her part. Restaurant located in a strip mall, they make pizza with carry out area and there was a steady stream of people picking up their pizza, will have to give it a try. Our salad’s came out quickly and they were fresh and dressing was tasty, we both had Italian. There was a short wait before our dinner arrived but were delivered to our table by I think one of the cooks, that was nice!!! I ordered the Chicken Francese on top of Spaghetti with a most delicious, delicate lemon wine sauce, it was so delicious and cooked perfectly, generous portion. Husband had Rigatoni Bolognese and it was a generous portion as well, he loved it. Then those garlic knots were right out of the oven. We truly enjoyed our food and as busy as they were our waitress did a great job waiting on us. We had leftovers to take home and our bill was very reasonable for the huge portions we received. Give this place a try, I highly recommend La Pergola!! Debbie

Hernando location food was good not great. Non-ripe tomatoes in salad. Pizza was good, hand tossed and tasty! This is not a place to go if you want to have a conversation with someone over dinner on a Wednesday night. Singer/keyboardist was very loud for this small restaurant.

HAVE TO TRY… Was very impressed with everything.. food came perfect service was equally awesome they were very attentive i have not had veal parm in a long time and it was better than I remember.
