Originally Docks Tavern, a fun neighborhood bar, the location was leased to new owners and became “Docks Cantina”. It offered half “bar fare” with a very basic and limited selection of Mexican menu items, which were average at best, and were lacking in flavor and creativity. As expected, after a short time business waned, payments ran behind, and the location closed, reverting back to the owners of the original Docks Tavern, which again offers good food and great service at a very reasonable price. It’s a nice local stop with a good crowd and always a good time. Welcome back Docks Tavern!

. Attention Motorcyclists: Docks Cantina in Sheffield Village no longer wants anything to do with us. The new owners were very cold and rude and were charging ridiculous prices for beers not giving back change, would not even say what beers cost. We used to do an annual run there for Derby Day with the old owners who were awesome. We had 1 drink and left and they even went as far as turning down the jukebox and not opening the patio. I personally paid 5 bucks for a diet coke. We also used to go there a lot on the bikes on other days, never again. We had about 26 or so people and we all got the same vibe. If it were me and I got a party of 26 just roll up I would totally be accommodating.

Fun little place. Corned beef sandwich and tacos tasted like straight grease and such a small amount for the price. Super disappointed. Great margaritas though.
