This was my second time eating at the Pig and the Hen. It has been a while.
The first time the parking lot was empty. Just a few cars. Today mostly full but still plenty of parking and inside the restaurant still a lot of tables open.
I was greeted by a hotess with a wonderful smile and she sat me at a table.
The waitress was very attentive and kind.
I ordered a coffee and mushroom omelet with sourdough toast.
Yummy. I plan to go back and try other selections of food choices!

Went here for dinner (breakfast ) and it was delicious. My husband got the huevos rancheros and I got bacon, eggs, dippers and toast. It was all super good but the toast was absolutely delicious. 100% was the best part of the dinner. Our server was so nice and helpful. Definitely will return.

I googled fun places to eat near me. Looking over their website we decided to try it.
As we walked in the door we were automatically pleased. The place was wonderful – no clutter, extremely spacious. We were taken to our table immediately by a friendly smiling hostess. Our server was very sweet and helpful, since we’d not been there before.
We chose to split a sandwich. Glad we did – it was deliciously plentiful! I hadn’t had a crepe in a while and we split that too. It ignited our taste buds with pure delight!
Because the experience was primo, I will be returning to indulge in the expansive options.

Food was decent, and the mimosa was tasty, albeit a bit expensive for the setting. The waitress we had seemed to be struggling physically which made us a little anxious and concerned but the was doing her best. The staff overall felt a little cold and the food was….tasty enough, but a bit lifeless, if that makes sense. Overall I don’t think we’d go back.

First time in and the food was really good. The only bummer was that the cappuccino machine was not working, had to settle for regular coffee *sad face*
My husband had the Cowboy Eggs Benedict (sausage patty, sausage gravy & poached egg on top of a biscuit) with seasoned potatoes, the sausage gravy on it was really good, potatoes were perfect. I had the Mushroom Lovers Omelette – chose egg whites for $2 up charge (garlic portobello mushrooms, wild mushrooms , Swiss cheese & arugula) with seasoned potatoes and sourdough toast with a side of strawberry preserves, it was all absolutely delicious. We split the Berry Crepe (stuffed with cheese cake and topped with raspberry sauce, whipped cream and fresh berries) it was to die for There’s dining inside and outside on the patio. I also noticed a sign that said they are now offering dinner Thursday-Saturday 3-8pm with $2 margaritas and beers. We will definitely be back again.

We stopped here randomly on the way up north and I’m so glad we did! This was probably the best Monte Crisco I have ever had. The service was great, food was excellent and it wasn’t overpriced. We will definitely stop again!

I went here for my 3rd time yesterday. I’ve never really LOVED what I’ve got, but I kept thinking it was what I ordered? So I tried again. Yesterday was enough to make me never come back. Everything was SO SALTY. And I love salt…but this was insane. Even my Bloody Mary was too salty, which I didn’t think was possible. We started with the loaded dippers, which were definitely the saltiest. I think every component of that dish was drenched in salt. Then I got the Southern Hen & he got the Chicken & Waffles. My dish was also quite salty. He said his waffle was over cooked. I spent $75 on brunch and had to leave and get food elsewhere. The service was fantastic though, so I still left the waitress a $30 tip. Definitely not her fault that everything was excessively salty.
Now that I’m reading through the reviews, I’m noticing that people are complaining about the food being bland, so maybe they’re overcompensating with salt?
Attached is a pic of what I left behind, because I couldn’t even fathom putting it in a box and eating it later. Totally the first time ever that I haven’t finished a Bloody Mary lol

The food was incredible, the prices were awesome, but the service outshined them both. I cannot say enough good things about my experience here. I had the Smore’s Crepes and they were the best crepes I’ve ever had. And the portions are MASSIVE.

I got the Mac and Cheese Burger, and while it is expensive, it is well worth the price. With regards to flavor, it’s the best Mac and Cheese Burger I’ve had, and I’ve had quite a few. The bun is slightly sweet, the Mac anc Cheese is cheesey and flavorful, and the portion is extremely generous, well worth the extra money. The only part of it that wasn’t spectacular was the actual patty itself, which was fairly bland, but the rest of it more than compensated. The service was friendly, quick, and clearly communicated everything I needed to know. The decor is modern and chill, and the music is spectacular. When you walk into a restaraunt and hear one of your favorite songs, it sets the vibe for the whole visit. I will be coming back in the future.
