We were really excited to try this restaurant. I really wish I could give a good review. The wait staff was very kind. The food was overall terrible. The broccoli soup was so overcooked the broccoli was mush. The soup was also an odd dark brown color and very bland. The bread and butter were delicious. Although the lobster was cooked perfectly, it was overwhelmingly salty. Inedible – I had to send it back. I have never sent a dish back before. The green beans were from a can or frozen – mush, discolored and bland. The broccoli was discolored and again – bland and mush. The hollandaise sauce tasted like mayo and like it came out of a bag. My companion’s Ribeye was also unseasoned and overcooked on one side. Our alcoholic beverages tasted watered down. Super disappointed. Not worth the money. Cute setting, loved the theme. The dining room was very smoky – the kitchen is not properly ventilated. It wouldn’t take a lot of changes to make this place much better. Please save this cute place by fixing these issues.

Depending on what you get the 5 courses are reasonable priced. Hearty entree portions. Not sure why you would put a hollidase sauce on vegetables and I wish I was told or might have ordered a different type of side. Onion dip delicious. Also thought that the homemade salad dressing was good but not sure why they didn’t better cut the lettace. The chicken kiev was delious. The non alcoholic cocktails should have more spice, especially wassail as this can very easily had more spices. Now that I have experienced this restaurant, not sure if I would go again, although their are worse restaurants. Also I might have been the youngest person in there, which felt odd.

Five Alls is one of SLC’s best kept secrets. Everyone i have told, had never heard of it.

It is a great place for a special occasion. It is a bit pricey for a regular Wednesday night eat out. We (family of 7) went for Christmas Eve. Total bill was just over $600, including tax and auto-gratuity for party of 6 or more. But the service was great, and tip was earned. The atmosphere is amazing. Don’t miss the photo ops in the front vestibule. The food is fantastic. Five courses is a lot, so come hungry.

Amazing food. I’ve been here many times in the past and it is a fun experience, but they have definitely stepped up the quality of the food recently!! It was amazing. Got the Filet Oscar ( basically Filet mignon with Alaska Crab meat on it.) It’s was 10/10. The cook was perfect. We also tried the Rib and it was so amazing!!!! The 5 course meal is always fun, but the food has improved so much. If you haven’t been here in a while definitely give it another try. So yummy!

Best German food in all of Salt Lake… who knew?! I ate at Five Alls Restaurant and was genuinely delighted from start to finish. With my German background, I can be pretty picky when it comes to quality, flavor, and authenticity — and this place absolutely delivered.

The food was outstanding, the service was warm and professional, and the entire experience felt special. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and it shows in every detail.

If you’re in Salt Lake and want a memorable meal with incredible German flavors and top-tier hospitality, don’t miss this place!

It was our first time experiencing this establishment, and it was excellent. Our server, Quimby, was outstanding, friendly, helpful, patient and very well mannered. The food was amazing, and with a 5 course meal, wow, a cultural showcase. Be warned, this meal is not a fast landside, it is an experience, so take your time and enjoy.
