I had the southwest chicken rice bowl ….I was unsure about the Chipotle sauce so I got it on the side…..it was delicious!!!! I will definitely have it again! I have a very picky eater that wanted a grilled cheese….so they made her one….Thanks DAngelos I appreciate that!!!! So.etimes its the little things we appreciate the most!

I am very upset about the service received tonight. I went to the D Angelo’s on Center Street in Auburn, Maine and got 2 sandwiches. When I got home to eat I realized my steak and cheese was burnt. I bit into it and it crunched. I opened it up and it was obviously burnt. The entire time I was waiting for the food, the employee was complaining about the people on the shift before him. Maybe if he wasn’t so busy complaining, he could have paid attention to the food. Tried calling the store to complain and no one answered.

I’m soooo disappointed in their lobster rolls this year… I realize we called later in day but for 39 bucks or whatever the mediums cost it was very very sad looking. It was Mother’s day & they should’ve had plenty we wanted Large but they didn’t have enuf for 4 they could only do 3 mediums here is the photo.. terrible Mother’s Day Lobster rolls.. now for years prior we had gone their & got our monies worth but definitely not anymore… we spent sooo much money to still be hungry

Had the worst experience at the Auburn,ME Center St. Location. First tried to call in my family’s order for pickup for 30 minutes and it just rang. Not a big deal thinking perhaps they were busy. I live less than 5 minutes from the store so I just drove over. When I got there there were no customers, still not a big deal! There were 3 young employees there. The 2 up front were rude, unfriendly, and were not in any way trying to help. When she finally came to the counter I started to read our order to her she VERY RUDELY said will you just give me the paper! I was literally shocked but handed her the list ( 3 items). She put on her gloves and went on to touch her hair and face with the same gloves she was preparing my family’s food with. After a 20 minute wait she started to bag my order and threw my husband’s sandwich into the bag (literally) and then put our 2 rice bowls on top. Her attitude was so bad there were multiple customers behind me who were also complaining about it. When she finally rang me up she looks at me and says ” want a receipt” and I said actually yes I do thank you! I get our food and head home (again less than 5 minute drive) and both rice bowls were COLD and my husband’s sandwich was smashed. We come here often and have never had this problem EVER!! Will not be going back!!!

This D’Angelo’s location is hands down my favorite! They have an awesome staff and the manager is great.. he is always helping the staff to keep things running smoothly. This location is very clean and well maintained.
If you’re looking to try something new, I can’t recommend the “Thanksgiving sandwich” enough… They are huge, delicious and served with a cup of hot gravy that puts this sandwich over the top! That and their steak and cheese sandwiches are to die for! If you like spicy I suggest trying a little hot pepper relish on your steak and cheese. Mmm.
