All I’m going to say is I am shocked this establishment is still running . I would not even feed this to a pet let along a human stomach . After 1.5 hours waiting for my order through DoorDash . This is what was sent to me . I initially ordered chicken wings with plantains and 1 turkey simple . The rice looks old bland and does not smell good . The turkey is dried. I took one bit out of one plantain and I was disgusted . Close your doors already !!! Just because you know how to cook food for your family does not mean you can cook to run a business . Nasty food , nasty Customer Service .

I first discovered this place on Instagram and decided to take the 2.5 hour drive from Orlando to check it out. Let me just say, my taste buds were delighted! Whenever I’m in the area, I always stop by and the food never disappoints. I’ve been about three times now and I only wish they were closer. It can be a little pricey but it’s worth it for the amount of food that you get.

I’ve been following this restaurant on IG for a while now. I decided to make the trip today and I’m so happy I did. The food is as delicious as it looks on the pictures. I wished my mouth was bigger! Lol. The place is small, but clean and cozy. The girl Darlene, (sorry if I misspelled it) was very accommodating, nice and professional. I have absolutely no complaints, I just wish I stayed closer that restaurant lol. Definitely worth the drive, worth the stop

I use to order every week from here spend at least $400 a month because the food was so good ! but now they are under NEW management so when I placed an order yesterday for 6 grilled salmon, when I got home to eat it the salmon was pale didn’t even look grilled. I called back and told them I was unsatisfied and that the salmon didn’t look grilled at all and a lady name Lisa (new manager) said I should try it before judging the meal and if I don’t like it call back and she will give me a refund. So I gave it a try, I tasted the salmon & it didnt even taste like the salmon was cleaned before it was cooked ! I called back and asked did the chef change because the food don’t look the same at all , she then told me yes ! they are under new management and her husband is the new chef. I then asked about the refund and she proceeds to tell me that she can’t give me a refund now, just a discount on my next meal. At this point I was annoyed because why would I buy from them again if my first meal under the new management was TRASH and then she didn’t honor the refund like she said she would on the first call, she switched it up when I called back. Even the pikliz was trash, my first time ever having bad pikliz ! So here is a pic of the pale grilled salmon in a trash bag before heading out to the garbage …. because I wasted money on trash yesterday , Today I had to buy more grilled salmon from another restaurant and this is how grilled salmon is SUPPOSED to LOOK !

I came to the location , there was no menu in sight I ask for a menu she told me the menu is online .. I go online I wasn’t sure what to get. I already had leftover chicken at home so I was like let me get a side order of rice and macaroni…On the online menu side rice is 3.99 and macaroni was 4.99 she told me 10 mins I waited for 20 mins when it was finally ready the register said 19$ … come on guys that’s not cool ! Some one needs to make a menu period !!

I called in advance and placed 3 orders, when I arrived 35 min as requested the food wasn’t ready. I waited another 15 min only to be told that one of my orders they ran out of. The woman was very dismissive about it. Then I had to wait another 15 min for another meal, which was chicken and plantains. When I opened the container it was 5 little pieces. This experience was disappointing. I will not recommend anyone to go there since with a 2 mile radius there is 3 Haitian restaurants. Go to Pearl of the Islands in Margate, they never disappoint.

The food tasted good but the lady was always on the phone and she was very rude talking while the customer were in front of her on her cell phone also she was not using gloves and she was touching her face and stuff like that while touching the food.
