We had an amazing meal tonight! My husband loved his build your own burger, and my pizza was absolutely stellar!! The service was fantastic, the staff was so friendly, and the lake views with the sun sparkling off the water were unbeatable. And the draft beer? Perfect! Highly recommend, we’re definitely excited to make this a regular spot!!

I’ve been there twice now and have a couple of suggestions. This post is just constructive criticism met to help.
The first time I order the Italian sandwich and I ask our server what type of bread was used – she told me it’s a hoagie bun, it was more like a hot dog bun and the sandwich fell apart as I was eating it. I’m also an IPA beer drinker and they only had Serria Nevada pale ale. Almost every place up here has atleast has two hearted on tap or in bottle. Beer selection is only marginal.
The second time we went with friends who loved the onion rings from before. She was really looking forward to them, but they only have onion petals now. O’well not a deal breaker, just not great, just won’t pay for the uporder. I ordered the BBQ burgers and it was OK – nothing to write home about. This time they did have Petoskey’s juice IPA on tap, however it’s not bells Two Hearted or Austin brothers 45 IPA. Beer selection needs work. We really needs this place to do well given are limited choices up here and I’m happy to see they are open on Mondays. So for me, please upgrade your bread for sandwichs and provide a better beer selection. Thanks

OUTSTANDING! The only drawback is the Pizza that was eaten by my son is now is favorite…Unfortunately it would be a 3.5 hour drive to pick it up. Seriously though the food was outstanding, The food was piping hot when it arrive and delicious. During dinner our table got extremely quiet (can’t talk with food in your mouth). I think it was a great value as 4 of us ate for under 100.

Restaurant offers good food and drinks. For being out of the way (kinda out in the middle of nowhere) you couldn’t ask for anything more. We’ve been here countless times and have had a good experience every time. Nice scenery of the lake, good location to the trails and campground.

This is a wonderful restaurant located directly on the Eastern shoreline of Black Lake. The dining room and the outside tables overlook this beautiful lake. It’s ideally located in the middle of a large complex of ORVATV trails and routes and is therefore frequented by ATV riders such as ourselves.
Very diverse menu with high quality food and a stellar staff. We’ve been there twice over 4 years and plan on going back and making it a destination and our off-road adventures.

This is a very nice and wonderful place. It is cozy restaurant and bar which overlooks Black Lake. The bartender is very nice and informative of the area. It is snowing outside and decorated for Christmad on the inside which makes for beautiful scenery. I have visited this place for years. Would definitely recommend if you are in this area.

Food was great, Kyle was awesome, view was extraordinary! Highly suggest this out of the way stop in the woods. Definitely get the pretzel bites and cheese dip…yum!!!
