I was visiting from out of town and I was immediately impressed with this kava bar and would say it is one of the best kava bars I’ve been to in Florida. The vibe is great, there’s a vaeriety of things going on, and it’s a really welcoming spot to hang out.
Leah was awesome from the moment I walked in—super friendly and clearly runs the place like a well-oiled machine. She’s also very knowledgeable about the kava and other products and took the time to explain everything.

Coastal is hands down the best kava bar around! I’m here almost every day because it truly feels like home. The people are like family, and everyone is always so welcoming. There’s always something fun going on, so it’s never a dull moment. April and Dolan are amazing — they genuinely care about everyone who walks through the door and treat you like family. Absolutely love this place!

Coastal Kava is hands-down one of the best chill spots around. Super relaxed vibe, friendly staff, and the kava is legit. You can tell they actually care about quality and not just rushing drinks out.
It’s the perfect place to unwind, meet cool people, or just sit back and decompress after a long day. No pressure, no weird energy — just good conversations and good drinks. If you’re new to kava or already into it, they’ll take care of you either way.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a laid-back alternative to bars and alcohol.

After several visits, I can honestly say the drinks were disappointing and the ambiance felt extremely off. Management sets the tone for a business, and in my opinion, April does not promote a positive or respectful environment.
The way staff are treated directly impacts the customer experience and it shows. I won’t be returning. It’s disappointing to see talented employees no longer there, especially when they were one of the few bright spots in an otherwise underwhelming, dull, lifeless, boring, negative environment. For higher quality drinks and a better customer experience you could basically go anywhere else, i would recommend HaKuna Makava the vibes and customer service are excellent.

Great vibe and great people. Very diverse and everyone respects each other. They also help our veterans. If you love kava bars there is not a better place than this one.

Stopped by for a coffee. 1st time here and there was a veterans raffle going on. I enjoyed playing pool and socializing. The coffee was STRONG but also too sweet. Overall pleasant experience.

My visit to this kava bar was extremely uncomfortable. The environment was openly hostile, and people inside were casually using racial slurs toward multiple races. The “n-word” was used excessively and openly. I am Asian, and I was directly targeted with offensive comments, being called different Asian and Hispanic combinations in a demeaning way.
It’s especially disappointing because the business promotes itself as “veteran owned.” I respect military service, but the behavior I witnessed did not reflect professionalism, discipline, or respect. If those values are part of the branding, the environment should reflect them.
I left feeling disrespected and unsafe. I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

I’ve been to several kava bars in the area, but none compare to the experience I had at coastal kava ♂️
Leah was so helpful, patient and genuine. I am newer to the kava world, Leah educated me while providing a comfortable environment!!

So you think the pizza would be average at best? Nah it’s really good. But that’s barely the highlight, family run and enjoyed business and during these times when the same 3 companies own everything, I want to spend my money on family run
