Wow! Wow wow wow. Incredible. We ordered a ton to try. Every single thing was immaculate! I would be happy to just eat rice with the garlic eggplant and garlic spinach… but everything was mind blowing. Highly recommend trying a bit of everything but the potstickers and soup dumplings were my favorites!

This unassuming restaurant specializing in Sichuan Province cuisine is a true find. Unlike the hundreds of other Chinese restaurants that serve timid “Americanized” food, this place is authentic. The flavors are bold like a punch to the face… in a good way. They also have a small offering of dim sum that was tasty and delicious. I will be coming back here again many times so I can eat my way through their menu. I do recommend this place for small to large groups. They have large circular tables that seat 6-9 people and booths for smaller groups (2-4).

I gave a lower rating simply to get the attention of the owner. First time in and we got the most profoundly rude server I have ever encountered. She was definitely not overworked by the current shift – there weren’t that many tables. And I like to think I’m a patient and understanding individual when a place is crowded or busy. It wasn’t. And I have no way of knowing her personal issues. Her disdain for serving our table of two was obvious.
Food was great. And service was timely. We thanked her for every refill without a response from her. And the drink refills were so frequent it became strange – only a few sips in and it was whisked away to be topped off. When I couldn’t drink any more soda, I requested to switch to water. And you could feel the disgust at my request. And then she literally slammed the water down on the table when she brought it. The food runners and other staff were friendly. And we didn’t lack for attentiveness. But it was uncomfortable that she so clearly didn’t like waiting on us. It COULD be a cultural thing I fail to understand, but I think I know what the issue was. And I wont be back if my presence disturbed her that much. Too many other eateries in the city for that nonsense.

Authentic Sichuan peppercorns and cuisine. The sesame red bean paste balls are wonderful. Their portions are generous, if going as a pair, id recommend splittinga main dish if getting appetizers or extra sides. I definitely recommend their chicken with green peppercorns and their fish stew.

We have been enjoying this restaurant for a couple of years, dining in and introducing friends to the delicious food. Yesterday was the first time we got delivery. We were hosting a Chinese New Year Feast. We ordered our favorites: wontons in chili sauce, wok fired green beans, eggplant in garlic sauce, shrimp fried rice, and sesame chicken. The dishes were all excellent and delicious with generous portions. Our friends ate very well and complimented everything. The delivery was perfect, the restaurant had packed it all really well and it arrived on time. We are so glad we ordered from ChuanZiang HaoZi!!!

If you drive a truck you can go the long way around to the Sunoco behind the building. Owner let me park to pick up food.
I only eat Szechuan Chinese and have tried many across the country.

Pork Fried rice excellent and I mean it. Fried rice usually sucks this didn’t
Chicken with green peppercorn. Really good sorta Szechuan they had jalapeño with Szechuan peppers. You can leave that out next time. But I’ll just try something else.
Scallion pancakes limp no crunch.
Egg rolls good. Wish they gave me mustard instead of the red sauce.
String beans excellent
Soup dumplings small ok wanted to try won’t be getting that again.
Price excellent
Is it a Szechuan dream? No it’s high quality Chinese. It lacks the spice and numbness you get from real Szechuan
That said if I crave Chinese and I’m in the area I’ll stop here

If you are in Columbus, Ohio. This is a MUST! if you want amazing Chinese Cuisine. Not “sugared” down sauces. My goodness!! We could not believe the quality of food, flavor and the portions on the entrees. We were a party of 6. We had an amazing fish fillet soup, beef brisket, also many other choices. The green beans were great. Spring rolls and egg rolls so good. I can’t recommend this place enough. The atmosphere was very authentic, clean and staff was very friendly. We ordered the soup to go to bring back to Bama!!

Excellent spicy Szechuan chinese food. We were there first time. We ordered pickled cabbage fish soup. It was tangy, spicy, warm and comforting. Big portions. We had to box some. Enough for two people. If you like spicy food go for regular spice level. If you can’t tolerate spicy food tell them to make it mild. Service and atmosphere is great. They have items in the menu which you will not find in Americanized Chinese restaurant. You will get a taste of real Chinese cuisine.
