We hadn’t been to a Schlotskys in over 3 years and decided to try this location since we just moved here from out of state. The Sandwich bread was a little over baked (crunching sound when biting into the edges of the sandwich). The Pickle tasted like it was past the fresh date….strange off-putting taste to it so we didn’t finish eating them. Baked potato soup was very brown looking after being stirred. It tasted ok. We will try a different location next time.

She also recommended that I download the app which I hadn’t thought about doing before.

Nice little location. I’ve visited the other one and sadly found the sandwiches better there than here. I waited about 15 min which isn’t a biggie but the bread wasn’t crunchy…more so chewy and rubbery. ;;(.

This location is ok. We’ve only dined here since it became an Austin eatery, but we’ve eaten here several times. The service is slow every time and the food is mediocre. Everything just seems uninspired. The atmosphere is great, it’s very clean and everyone is pleasant. The staff just seems ho hum, uninformed, and slow, and the sandwiches have almost no flavor. The bagged chips are always excellent. The pickles at this location are not the same as most Schlotzsky’s and taste fermented, like they’re from an old jar. The parking lot is a mess and the access to the drive-thru is inconvenient. There’s plenty of seating inside, it’s bright, airy and relaxed. Change the pickles and do an energy/enthusiasm/education overhaul with the staff, and it could be much better!

I was displeased with the lack of cleanliness. The soda machine looked like it hadn’t been wiped off for some time. It was very hard finding a half decently clean table. The floors need to be swept.
Four employees and not at all busy. But none were attending to the dining area. Maybe less cell phone or tick tock interaction would probably go a long way. 1st time here, last time here.

Very clean location. The young lady working the front was super nice. I ordered the pepperoni double cheese pizza. It was pretty good.
A+ Rating for me. Even if they forgot my jalapeno on the pizza.

I stopped by around 10:15 this morning. One employee was sitting in a booth on their phone and two others were in the back making food. I stood there for approximately 5-10 minutes waiting to order and wasn’t greeted by anyone. One employee in the back made eye contact with me and then looked toward the front, probably wondering where the cashier was. I assume she’s the one that was sitting down. I understand being busy making sandwiches but at a certain point I should have been acknowledged by someone. Went to Taco Bell instead and got great service. Go figure!

Most everyone who works here, besides the rude general manager, are really kind and helpful. Unfortunately, the store is getting 1 star because of how the situation played out….I have a broken ankle so I ordered delivery through the schlotzkys app – 1 sandwich, chips, drink, and potato soup. I get a notification that he dropped it off, via door dash as that’s who they use, and the picture isn’t my house. So, I get my crutch and start going to my nearby neighbors houses to see if the porch looks the same. I couldn’t find it, so I messaged the dasher and of course the communication has been cut off so I call the store and they get my info and say they’ll call me back. Nothing for a week. Call again. Nothing for a week. So I call this past week and I get the GM who has a nasty attitude. If I had been rude I would’ve understood, but I wasn’t. I understand that human error happens but since I didn’t get my food I want a refund. I was being patient but this happened on July 14th – it’s currently August 7th and all she has done is say she couldn’t find my order but now she can and she tried calling, from her personal phone, and she didn’t leave a voicemail. Then gets an attitude with me when I came at her very kind and trying to be understanding.I don’t have money to be wasting on food I can’t even eat. General manager -4/10. Good communication skills along with better customer service would be a game changer for your store. I hope her employees don’t suffer because of her!!
