Me and the Wife had a late lunch here on 1/25/26. There was playoff football going on and the place was packed. We were promptly seated and it did not take too long to get waited on. I had the famous Fish and Chips, which was Haddock with fries and slaw. The fish was good as were the slaw and fries. The fish was beer battered and cooked nicely. My wife had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with fries and slaw. She liked the meal. Nice place with inside and outside seating.

We are staying in North Ft Meyers and wanted some gator. I googled and GatorBites Tail and Ale came up. It took us about 30 minutes to get there, but it was worth it. We had the Mahi stix and gator bite appetizers. Both were delicious. The pig on cow, patty melt and Philly steak were GREAT! We loved all of it. Our waitress, Amber, was very friendly and attentive.

Chill place with THE BEST crispy wings that are tender inside and don’t get soggy with the wonderful buttery buffalo sauce. Juicy burger, and OH that CHAR!! Crispy fresh veggies and super cold beer. Great place!

We really enjoyed this place. The food was very good and large portions. Definitely get your bang for you buck. Portions are large possibly able to split it abd it was quick to receive our food. We had “Fish and Chips” & “Buffalo Tender Basket”. The fish had a light and crispy crust definitely recommend that if you are wanting fish. Fries had a light seasoning and were crispy. Coleslaw was good mayonnaise based. Buffalo chicken tenders was very good (more than I could eat) but finished them anyway. Has mine with a side of onion rings again battered and cooked very right with that same crispness as the fish. They offer outside dining if you choose to eat outside. Either way the service was great our waitresses Jordan was fantastic. Thank you Jordan. I took photos of the menu so you can see the variety they have. If you are looking for something and not sure what you want. Try here it has a little of everything and the price is reasonable. If this helps please give this review a like.

Stopped in for takeout. Live band, TVs all around, friendly and very attentive staff, quick service.
As for the food… in one word-YUM!!! Deliciously seasoned, lightly crispy calamari appetizer and scrumptious fish and chips. The food was so good I ordered from the restaurant again on the way out of town. The service and food were consistent with the first experience. Good job GatorBites!

I had the chance to eat at GatorBites recently and was genuinely impressed from start to finish. The quality of the food exceeded my expectations—everything was fresh, well-prepared, and clearly made with care. You can tell a lot of pride goes into what they serve.
What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and welcoming without being overbearing. It made the entire experience feel relaxed and enjoyable, which can be hard to find these days.
Overall, GatorBites delivered both great food and great service, and that combination is what keeps people coming back. I’ll absolutely be returning and would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid meal and a positive dining experience.

We have stopped here a few times before and had a good experience. My husband loves the gator bites. We were excited to bring relatives from home to experience why we love the bar & restaurant. However this day was not good. The tacos we had were terrible. The chicken and beef both were cold and the meat had been prepared ahead possibly frozen? Meat was dry and tasteless. Missing taco seasoning. I told the waitress. She was going to tell the kitchen. Also when she brought us the Mai hi appetizer to place on table we had to pick up the drink a pina-colada that slipped from hands and spilled on table and also some on the Mai hi. Showed waitress the bottoms were wet. We ate most realized later they were wet from the drink not because of grease. Paid for everything!! Not good service to say the least. Very disappointing.

Ok. If I were driving by, which I was would have totally wrote this place off. My brother told me about it and I stopped in when I was next in town. Great atmosphere, great staff, and an owner who really cares about quality of food and service. Prices more than reasonable with healthy serving (Mahi Mahi fish sticks) and live music and plenty of sports.
Great mix of locals and tourists. Nothing fancy but great place to chill and unwind and enjoy great food, atmosphere, and drinks.
Kudos to the owners. Way to build a great welcoming bar and grill.
