We provided more than enough time prior to going to the restaurant to retrieve the order.
When we arrived I went on the inside to pick up the pizza and they were so far behind that they didn’t even have a tag with our name on it for a pizza. There was about four people in the entire store.
As I was waiting I noticed some things that was quite disturbing.
The lady that was preparing the dough and putting the tomato sauce on the dough was right next to other pans of dough waiting to be prepared, I looked up at the ceiling and noticed that the AC was letting off a lot of condensation and they even had a bucket right next to the dough that appeared to be collecting the water. The issue that I saw was that the condensation was being blown by the AC unit all over the dough that was sitting open and exposed.
I immediately became disgusted because I thought about all of the dough being contaminated from water blowing around from out of the ceiling. The only thing I can think of is that people are eating this food unbeknownst to them that they have been exposed to possible chemicals from a ceiling from a AC unit.
Since they were nowhere near at a point of trying to find our order I just went ahead and left the store but I was so disgusted just thinking about bacteria in the food. I will be contacting the health department

What really stood out was how efficient and kind she was—even while juggling other customers, she never lost that positive energy. In a world where customer service can feel rushed, Kaylee made it feel personal. That’s how you turn a pizza stop into a great experience.
I immediately contacted this located and after speaking with the manager on duty, was informed that they were short staffed. I asked that she ( the manager Chris) make a new order as, the one pizza they sent was sitting in the car with the delivery driver and that I wanted a fresh one.
She insisted that she could only send the missing two pizzas and that it would take an hour.
Needless to say, this will be our last time doing business with Papa Johns. The entire team at this location could use a bit of training.
