We had a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. Our server, Maria, was friendly, attentive, and genuinely added to the enjoyment of our evening. The food stood out for its clean, fresh flavors — nothing overwhelming, just well-balanced and delicious.
We started with fresh ciabatta rolls and a beautifully piped brown‑butter floret, a simple but memorable touch. We shared the clam chowder and a blue crab cake with Dijon mustard sauce, both flavorful and well-prepared.
For entrées, I ordered the pistachio‑crusted Icelandic cod over sun‑dried tomato risotto. The portion was generous, and the fish was perfectly cooked. The seafood trio — scallops, shrimp, and haddock, rice, and green beans — was another excellent choice, offering a nice variety without feeling heavy.
My wife chose the 3‑Before‑6 price‑fix menu, which included clam chowder, an entrée, and dessert at a set price. Her portions were slightly smaller, as expected for a price‑fix offering, but still satisfying and well worth it.
We finished with the chocolate chip bread pudding — rich, comforting, and so good that we took it home because we were already full.
Overall, it was a great meal with excellent service, fresh flavors, and thoughtful portions. We’ll happily return. Our only disappointment was discovering the restaurant is closed on Wednesdays — we enjoyed our Tuesday dinner so much that we wanted to come back the very next night, especially after seeing several tables order the drunken half chicken, which looked incredible. Also, we did not drink any alcoholic libations just lemonade.

This was our first time at the Inn. I’ve been visiting the cape for my entire life and have grown tired of taking my mother to the same place.. So we wanted to try something new. The old yarmouth inn did not disappoint. We loved everything about our experience last night! The Thai calamari was different and delicious. The table had ordered short ribs, pistachio salmon, burger, pansearred scallops, and fish and chips. All of agreed that we would order our dishes again. The blood orange margarita did not disappoint either.

We will definitely be back again to try more!

I had an amazing experience at the Old Yarmouth Inn in Dennis, Massachusetts! Everything was top-notch. On a friend’s recommendation, I ordered Spencer’s Manhattan, the stuffed quahog, and the sweet potato fries. When I mentioned the fries, the waitress casually said, “whatever floats your boat,” which made me smile. Those fries were some of the best I’ve ever had—crispy, flavorful, and just perfect. The staff was friendly and seemed unaware of how incredible their food is! Highly recommend this gem!

Enjoyed our evening, first with drinks at their bar, then dinner. We had their crusted Haddock, which was very good with nice flavor. I also loved their lobster bisque as an appetizer. Our waitress was very attentive and made the evening special.

What a great historical restaurant in the heart of the cape. The people were very nice and always smiling. Even the servers were always checking on the patrons to see if they need anything. Our server was on top of her game knowing the specials. The food was great as were the drinks. The dessert is made in house and you can tell. The restaurant was very clean and the bar is very nice as well

I gotta say this place was a nice surprise. Not only is it inviting and decorated beautifully but the food is very good!
We both enjoyed what we chose.
Special touches like linen tablecloth service and pleasant staff made this a more elevated experience. We will definitely go back.

I recently visited this Yarmouth inn , and it was absolutely delicious. The highlight of my meal was the lobster—it was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. The rich butter sauce paired with it was incredible. The rest of the seafood was fresh and tasty as well. The staff was friendly and made sure everything was just right. If you love good lobster and fresh seafood, this place is a must-try. Highly recommended!

Great local restaurant & tavern for almost any taste or occasion. I have been coming occasionally for years and the staff is almost like family now. The Tavern room (or bar seating) is the place to be and enjoy good food, drink and fun company. The dining room, or Red room are both great for larger parties or a special occasion.

The Prime Rib on Friday or Saturday nights is probably one of the best on Cape Cod. Make sure you are there early or call ahead and reserve it, as it always sells out quickly.

For a special occasion or just because, the Baked Stuffed Lobster is to die for! Make sure you are hungry if you order it!

With an Olde fashioned tavern vibe, this place has been in business since the 1700’s. It has a cozy bar and 3 different dining rooms to experience. Service was excellent with a curated menu that stands the test of time, as they reintroduce their all time favorites again and again for special holiday menus.
