We started with fresh ciabatta rolls and a beautifully piped brown‑butter floret, a simple but memorable touch. We shared the clam chowder and a blue crab cake with Dijon mustard sauce, both flavorful and well-prepared.
For entrées, I ordered the pistachio‑crusted Icelandic cod over sun‑dried tomato risotto. The portion was generous, and the fish was perfectly cooked. The seafood trio — scallops, shrimp, and haddock, rice, and green beans — was another excellent choice, offering a nice variety without feeling heavy.
My wife chose the 3‑Before‑6 price‑fix menu, which included clam chowder, an entrée, and dessert at a set price. Her portions were slightly smaller, as expected for a price‑fix offering, but still satisfying and well worth it.
We finished with the chocolate chip bread pudding — rich, comforting, and so good that we took it home because we were already full.
Overall, it was a great meal with excellent service, fresh flavors, and thoughtful portions. We’ll happily return. Our only disappointment was discovering the restaurant is closed on Wednesdays — we enjoyed our Tuesday dinner so much that we wanted to come back the very next night, especially after seeing several tables order the drunken half chicken, which looked incredible. Also, we did not drink any alcoholic libations just lemonade.
We will definitely be back again to try more!
I had an amazing experience at the Old Yarmouth Inn in Dennis, Massachusetts! Everything was top-notch. On a friend’s recommendation, I ordered Spencer’s Manhattan, the stuffed quahog, and the sweet potato fries. When I mentioned the fries, the waitress casually said, “whatever floats your boat,” which made me smile. Those fries were some of the best I’ve ever had—crispy, flavorful, and just perfect. The staff was friendly and seemed unaware of how incredible their food is! Highly recommend this gem!
We both enjoyed what we chose.
Special touches like linen tablecloth service and pleasant staff made this a more elevated experience. We will definitely go back.
The Prime Rib on Friday or Saturday nights is probably one of the best on Cape Cod. Make sure you are there early or call ahead and reserve it, as it always sells out quickly.
For a special occasion or just because, the Baked Stuffed Lobster is to die for! Make sure you are hungry if you order it!
