I have come here several times. The food is great. On this visit, I had the Asian Duo tacos with steak. Let me tell you, what a wonderful fusion of flavors. My wife had the wonton nachos with shrimp. They looked great. The prices are reasonable and the food is so flavorful. Mo and Abdul (the owners and brothers) are wonderful people. They are friendly with customers and strive to provide a great experience. Come experience this hidden gem in GR!

Great little place! My wife and I happened to be downtown and decided to grab dinner while we were here.
Found Char on the map and decided to give it a try.

My wife got a sajiya bowl with lamb. The lamb was cooked right then and there and she loved it!
I got the shrimp fried rice bowl and it was very good. Great taste.
You can add different toppings and one of the employees suggested mixing 2 of the sauces. He was right, they worked well together.
They have coke products- both bottles and fountain.
The garlic sauce is also awesome.

Ok spot for some tacos. Their chicken is halal so tried that. While the chicken was seasoned well and tasted good, they overload it with the various sauces. The spicy chimichuri wasn’t spicy so all in all the whole thing tasted too sweet. Also tried the chicken wonton and that was also decent.

This place was incredible!! Came to Holland, MI from Chicago for a weekend retreat and found this place online. The tacos drew us here, but we were not prepared for how amazing the food actually was!! Followed the owners recs and had the beef and shrimp tacos. The shrimp tacos were especially good! Friend who ordered the broth bowl said it was top notch!
We plan to add this spot to our yearly retreat!

When you come here, you have to try everything! It is all amazing! The tacos are some of the best I’ve ever had! They are so full of flavor and the ingredients are so fresh! The owners have done an amazing job adding a twist on tacos! There are so many flavor options to try! Then there are broth bowls! You can have chicken, beef, or vegan broth. You will be so full after eating one of these! They are absolutely delicious! I get one every time I go! There are also fresh salads with different options for greens. The owner is a great guy and loves helping you find your new favorite! Definitely give this place a try!

The fried rice bowls are made fresh and have an incredibly light taste, not oily. At the suggestion of the chef, I added the house Yum Yum sauce and kimchi to my fried rice bowl — a must-have.
The ingredients are fresh and visible for you to choose from, too. The chef also gave me a taste of their Korean-inspired chicken tacos, and, as one of the reviewers said, these are life-changing tacos.

This place wasn’t too bad. Bought the broth bowl with chicken and expected to slam it down based on what it looked like. But the truth is, the flavor profile was okay, the presentation was nice, and the vegetables were fresh. However, I would have liked to see a bit more broth in the bowls.
The pricing is a bit expensive, in my opinion, but the overall meal was decent. Check them out and see what you think. As always, happy eating. Enjoy!

Very good place! 1st time for me, my wife goes often with her work team downtown and wanted me to try. Great service and food. She had her normal 2 chicken tacos, I did the triple; 1 chicken, 1 steak & 1 shrimp. I didn’t need 3 but all were good. Chicken best, steak next. My wife likes the veggy bowls (same as tacos but with lettuce). I want to try the rice bowl. Highly recommend.
They have a gyro place attached and I want to try that next time. Supposed to be great too.

The food here is so so good. It’s made hot and fresh. The sauces available compliment everything. The crab Rangoon’s are huge and have so much filling. They are delicious. Haven’t had something here I didn’t enjoy. Order at the counter, get your food and then find a seat
