Our first experience with Oishii Ramen did not disappoint. Ordering To Go we tried one rice dish (Sukiyaki Don), the Curry Ramen, and each bun. This was a great way to try a variety. Flavors were on point, good service and suggestions, and will return.

We loved it! The food was delicious and the drinks were lovely too. Prices run about $13-$20 per person depending on what you order. Service was quick! We sat down and had our bowls in just a few minutes. The miso broth was the BEST! We will be back soon!

Satisfying ramen soup for lunch, along with some appetizers! And it’s all ready in minutes, everything made to order, so hot and fresh. Healthy portions, enough for another meal or two the next day.

I wanted noodles, and i got just that and more. Dont let the size of this restaurant fool you. The flavor that the food packs is hugh. My wife and I love ramen and can’t wait to come back here for more great tasting food. It is definitely worth a stop in. Dont forget to add a milk tea to the meal you won’t be disappointed.

Ordered the Karrage Chicken and Okonomiyaki for appetizers. The pancake was premade and frozen then fried. So much better when freshly made. The chicken was dried out. Veggie Ramen (Yuzu Shio) and Shio Ramen with chicken chasu the mushrooms, tofu, and chicken were very sweet and threw off the savory nature of the ramen. Taro milk tea was made with powdered milk product. Not worth the money. The staff was nice enough but we asked for Sriracha and got sweet chili sauce.

Authentic Ramen in the LaGrange Area!

I had the pleasure of visiting the newly opened Japanese Ramen restaurant today. Located conveniently near my home, this place could quickly become my new favorite spot for a hearty bowl of ramen. But It’s the restaurant’s grand opening day, and I want to leave a good review.

Service: The service was exceptional. The staff was friendly and eager to explain the menu offerings. There was a little delay, but I understand it is their first day. Also, they could provide a cup of water.

Ambiance: The interior of the restaurant and the restrooms were clean. The simple interior was cozy. The glass window of the main door needs to be cleaned.
It’s perfect whether you’re dining solo, with friends, or with family.

Food: The ramen I had today was Sukiyaki Ramen. As a meat lover, the meat in this ramen tasted like Korean bulgogi. I highly recommend this ramen, but the Shrimp Tempura Udon is not recommended. I’ve tried and reviewed a lot of Japanese restaurants in my life, but I’ve never found them worth the price. The tempura shrimp tasted like frozen food from the food depot and not homemade. The menu has four Udon noodles, but I won’t even try the rest.

Price: Compared to other Asian Japanese restaurants based on flavor and quality, it is expensive. However, it’s their first day, so I’m sure they’ll improve.

Overall: The Udon was definitely not good, but the ramen was excellent. I will return at least once more to try their other ramen dishes. Hopefully, I will be more impressed on my next visit. I wish this local business every success.

If you like variety, flavor, and quick service then this place is for you! We ordered the pork chasu buns, the fried chicken, tonkotsu ramen with chicken and shoyu ramen with pork, a Thai Tea and a Sakura tea with strawberry jelly! The price was very reasonable especially with the generous portions and toppings in the teas. Everything was delicious! The staff were friendly, quick to clean up and kept the place looking nice! They also give the option to order at the counter or on the machine which is a nice accommodation for people who need it! We will definitely be back!

I tried Oishii Ramen tonight. I got my order to go. I was in Middletown when I ordered online. It was easy to order. Upon arrival my food was ready to go in like 10 minutes or so.

I got my Tonkotsu Ramen with chicken and Karrage Chicken. The ramen was in its own container ready for the broth to be added. A simple pour of the broth in the bowl and it was ready to eat.

The broth was spot on comparing to other finer ramen places I have tried such as Ramen Ya in Vegas. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. I wanted more protein so I put some of my Karrage Chicken in it.

Overall my take out experience met all my expectations. It is nice to have real ramen in the eastend of Louisville now. Great addition to our community.

I would definitely rate this as comparable to a McDonald’s fast food. No quality in the food, over cooked deepfried appetizers- gyoza and karrage chicken was way overcooked previously frozen food and tonkatsu ramen was salty and just undescribable. Trust me if you want good ramen go to a real quality ramen establishment. If you want overpriced fastfood go here. I for one will not return. This is my honest opinion from the service and food I received.

The menu pictures show majority of the options but not all. The husband and I tried a couple appetizers, ramen and beverages. The service was quick and food was very good. The broths were very good but seem to be missing just a little something. The pork was delicious as well as the appetizers. We came in right as the lunch rush was getting going but they seemed to handle that very well. Staff was friendly and the restaurant is very clean.
