The broth is delicious and got the right kind of ️ I’m looking for raining/cold days. Love the fresh and delicious meat here.

In my opinion, so far this place is the best hot pot place near Atlanta. The price is reasonable considering it’s AYCE. However if you don’t want AYCE, there is also more affordable self serving option. Our A La Carte menu lets you order by item – perfect for solo diners, couples, or anyone craving a light meal!

When we arrived, the place was quiet since it was Monday night. The decor is charming, and I enjoyed the broth, which had just the right amount of spiciness for my taste. I’m unsure if they will restock the fridge, as they only have a few tables. While there are plenty of options for meat and skewers in the all-you-can-eat menu, the selection of vegetables is somewhat limited. Next time, I might also try ordering noodles from the menu. Overall, it was a good experience for two people, and the staff were quick and helpful.

We used to love here and come every week, but the owner changed their business model and now the place is not far from closing down unless adjustments are made. They used to have $25 all you can week on weekdays and now it’s $35 everyday. If you do the pay by dishes/sticks option, you can get much less food for the same price, meaning you simply won’t enjoy it. (See attached photos) in order to cut cost they have reduced the amount of meat on each stick and each plate. Now they have fewer customers on Saturday lunch than previously on weekdays. We wish to urge the owner to switch back to the old model, which then MLBB could still be the top choice for Hotpot in Duluth. Even, if they increase the price, it would be understandable cuz of the inflation, instead of cutting cost by reducing the serving size.

Update: we went there again 8/2/2025. Last Saturday they didn’t have duck blood(鸭血), this time they didn’t have milk tea that comes with the buffet option.

MLBB Hot Pot is an excellent hot pot restaurant! The place is clean and well-maintained, and the ingredients are always fresh. If you opt for the all-you-can-eat option, it’s definitely worth it—there’s a great variety of meats and other ingredients to choose from. If you’re from Northern China, I highly recommend their sesame sauce; it’s incredibly authentic and adds the perfect touch to the meal. A must-visit for hot pot lovers!

This mala hotpot spot offers bold and spicy flavors, with the spicy broth being rich and delicious, while the mushroom broth is quite plain. The ingredients are fresh, but vegetable options are limited. A highlight from the snack menu is the snow crab, which adds a nice touch. The atmosphere is decent and not too crowded, making it a good place to try something new also more variety, it could be even better!

MLBB is a hidden gem for all-you-can-eat Chinese hotpot. The highlight? Fresh veggies and a variety of meat and seafood skewers you can dip into up to four broths simultaneously (extra cost). We tried spicy (malatang), tomato, mushroom, and pork broths—tomato and spicy were the clear winners. While the mushroom and pork broths were a bit salty and greasy for our taste, the quality and variety of ingredients made up for it. The sauce bar is small but has all the essentials, and the service is fast and attentive. The cozy, street-style interior adds to the experience, and parking is a breeze. Fair pricing, but beware: the spicy broth is no joke. Worth a visit!

My family has been coming here for years. I was worried that they would go out of business a few months ago (the crab legs and spicy beef oil soup base were gone). I’m so glad they brought them back.

My favorite food items:
Crab legs – they are HUGE and always fresh every time we come here
Spicy beef oil soup base – get the medium spicy if u like spicy food (Chinese spicy might be too hot if u don’t have authentic hotpot a lot)
Crispy brown sugar mochi (rice cake) – definitely one of my favorite desserts! If u like warm dessert that’s crispy outside and soft inside u have to try this!
Taro balls and sesame balls – they pair very well with fresh fruits. My son have them with ice cream.
Seasoned fish paste, shrimp paste, mussels, fish balls, fish tofu, tofu puffs, konjac, Japanese sweet potato, etc – they have a great selection of seafood, meat and veggies. wish the fridge was refilled more frequently tho
Crawfish – pretty good for a hotpot place
Free milk tea – my husband’s go to is the mango milk tea

Service:
The service today was perfect. We didn’t have to ask for extra napkins or hotpot broth refill. The waiters made sure we had everything we needed.

The vibe:
They were decorating for Halloween today and someone put a“biohazard” banner on top of the sauce bar (lol). I find it cute that the waiter was wearing a ratatouille hat.

MLBB is definitely my favorite hot pot place in Duluth. The price is well worth it!
I hope they stick around for a long time. Pls never change
