Phil’s Deli is a Cherry Hill staple that’s earned its reputation over the years, and it keeps getting better. I’ve been coming here for about a decade, and you can really taste the care that goes into everything they make. Ordering is easy whether you go online or just call it in.

The Deuce, packed with mac & cheese and mozzarella sticks, was pure comfort food and left me happily stuffed, with everything fried just right and tucked into soft bread. Their breakfast sandwiches are another go-to, and the small market inside is handy for grabbing a drink from the fountain or coolers. There’s a simple indoor seating area with a TV if you want to sit and relax, and I always try to grab one of their cookies at the counter on my way out. Phil’s is the kind of spot you hope sticks around forever, and I’ll keep coming back.

The menu offers many great choices and the family lead team is warm, welcoming and always ready to help. It has become my favorite spot for lunch and I do not see that changing anytime soon.

What can I say about Phil’s that hasn’t been said, I will try my best to review this amazing deli. Growing up in Jersey I have been to many delis. Phil’s is more than that. The interaction between the owner and his staff with patrons is something to experience. They are so kind, and talk to their customers like they are old friends. The food is delicious, and being a big food person I will tell you every menu item is hand made. The cookies that they make from scratch is worth buying several of them. Simply delicious. If you are an old school person like myself, and like an old school deli, sandwich shop bring your appetite to Phil’s simply the best in my area.

Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday, after researching places to go for a cheesesteak! After a little while I found Phil’s, having some raving reviews, I decided to go. I ordered a cheese steak at the counter with hot peppers and onions, took a seat and it was delivered within minutes. That was delicious, one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve had in a long while. I think what made it, was that fresh bread, oh so good! It was nice and hot and the perfect amount of meat and toppings. Excellent!! I believe it was Phil, the owner, in there taking my order and making the food. That was so cool to see, he really cares about his business! He was checking in on me after I ate and didn’t forget my name after I informed him for my order, using it many more times after that. I can see how this would be a great place to stop in weekly if I lived in the area, it really feels like Phil cares about his business and customers. Feels like family in there! HIGHLY recommend Phil’s!!

I recommend the cheesesteak. I got mine with extra cheese. Well seasoned and flavorful, nice and cheesy not too greasy. Also got cheesy bacon ranch tots which were pretty good. The chicken strip and mozzarella sticks were fairly standard, not bad, but not outstanding either. Overall definitely worth checking out.

Great place for lunch started getting a crowd around 12 but the staff is clearly used to it and got through everyone quick. Has a seating area to eat. All the food looked amazing. I got an 8inch Italian hoagie was delicious & the burger and fries was a good size for the price and was very tasty. Unfortunatley I was only out here for work and don’t live in the state but I will definitely be back next time I’m in the area!

Fast service. Soft chewy bread for a great cheesesteak base. Decent amount of peppers to meat to cheese ratio. Awesome flavor, and the hot peppers add a great kick. Will definitely visit again if I’m traveling through.
