Probably the best bowl of pho in my life!! So flavorful, and the pickled garlic and sauces let you really perfect your taste. I debated between M and L because I was so hungry, and went with Large. But it was still so much food I couldn’t finish and had leftovers. Service was slightly slow because it was busy Friday night, but it was soooo worth it!

I was still hungry when I left. Their #1 special beef pho, all meats $18.75 (M) felt more like a small. Their broth is clean tasting and is complex. There’s no bean sprouts, Thai basil or hoisin sauce as it is northern style pho. This is my first time having julienned fresh ginger in pho. It prolly took them a lot work to slice them like that. While it didn’t add anything to the taste of the pho, I can appreciate the effort. Not bad for San Francisco standards. I prefer going to SJ for some really good pho. Service was fine as I didn’t have to wait for a table and the food came out quick. Tables were available at 1pm on a Sunday.

One of my best northern pho place in SF! Love all the ginger they put on it. Clear and favorful soup, and nice fresh beef! Must eat!

This is the best pho in San Francisco for sure!
The ingredients are super fresh, you can teste it.
The garlic sauce plus the ginger is the perfect combination.
Family owned clean delicious.
I leave this place thinking about when I’m coming back. Thanks

It was not the pho that I am used to, but the one from the north as the owner explained to me. First, they don’t give you basil and sprouts, only jalapenos and lime. The soup itself has chopped green onions, chopped cilantro, and julienned ginger sticks added to it. Also, they use fresh noodles instead of dry ones. The soup, the flank stake and meatballs flavors were good. I wish I took out ginger before I mixed it all in. Not my thing. Also, the fresh noodles are too slippery to my taste, and don’t hold a lot of soup. Not bad overall, but I prefer a more traditional pho.

My favorite pho spot in the city. The broth is rich and flavorful without being overly salty, and the noodles always seem fresh. The owners are super friendly, and you can tell they care a lot about their food. Definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Excellent Vietnamese food! We loved the beef pho and bun cha. The beef broth is the best I’ve had in the city. We also got a side of veggie fried spring rolls. The owner, David, is extremely kind and we’ll be back for sure!

“Oh my GOD that smells good.” The broth at this place is so flavorful. The green onion and ginger topping was perfect with the beef. Chicken pho was super flavorful to the point it would have been good without the chicken (which is one of the menu options). I’m still partial to Southern style, but this is by far the best Northern style pho I’ve had. Plenty of room to sit during weekend lunch, very kind and friendly service.

Service is extremely slow. Peak weekend lunch time where no line but almost all tables full. Just one single server. There were two available tables. Had us standing for a table for 15 minutes. Then from us ordering to getting the food it was at least 30 mins. Shouldn’t be this long for pho. And then another very long wait to get the check.
Service is also inaccurate. The table next to us ordered spring rolls and as they were paying said they never got that order.
Food itself was good but not enough to warrant the wait and slow service imo. I prefer other styles of pho, personally found this version too light.
