Social Profile:

Originated from New York City, we are a family oriented business with rich ancestry and close connection with traditional east Asian cuisine. Upon visiting the falls years ago, our chef has been deeply intrigued by the vibe and the spirit of the community, so much so that once the opportunity appears, we took the plunge and started our journey at Samurai Buffalo. To give back to the people that we love and appreciate so much, we not only aim to provide the best quality of food and service, but also offer All You Can Eat dining experiences all day everyday, from 11 am till close. Be sure to stop by and say hi, we’d love to have a great time with you along with some of the best Japanese cuisine in the area.

A comfortable Japanese option serving modern interpretations of classic dishes, sushi & teppanyaki.

Omg this is my new favorite place to go for sushi and ramen. The BEST all around in WNY. Empire State Roll (Deep Fried) was super delicious, Steak Spicey Miso Ramen and Shrimp Tonkotsu Ramen was also excellent. If you want the best sushi and Ramen this the place to go. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. This place is absolutely amazing!!!

Went there for the first time with my friend and her 2 kids, who had just went for their first time just a couple days prior! Dinner time, told a 15 min wait, perfectly understandable. We waiting in the car until they called to say they were ready. We all did the All You Can Eat. Ordering on the table tablet was easy. My only comment would be, it will be easier when all items have pictures attached, but everything had descriptions so you knew what you were getting. We did see the 90 minutes limit warning but we were there for closer to 2hrs and never once felt rushed or cut off. A couple items we ordered multiples of and were never told a limit. We also placed our orders semi staggered. Each person did their own first round and ordered. Then after ordered as wanted. I’d enjoyed my experience and left super full. Knowing what I would order from our local sushi place we would have easily spent 60 per person vs the AYCE price. Staff was super nice and there was someone always available!

I really do like this place it’s really nice in comparison to other all you can eats. The food was really good. The price is reasonable. I do recommend trying out this Japanese restaurant. Service was awesome really the best I’ve seen in Buffalo. Overall, 9/10.

But I am very critical and have a list of critiques. There wasn’t much music or it’s in certain areas. The portions were very big for all you can eat (maybe consider more dishes to choose from but smaller servings). The placemats can be improved eventually not pressing. I have a couple more things but honestly you guys are a good place I think it’ll all work out.

My new favorite sushi restaurant for all you can eat AND in general, Has so much variety aside from sushi! The sushi itself is actually good quality, the sashimi didn’t taste frozen or like water. The sushi rolls had a great rice to fish ratio. The hibachi was soooo good! Juicy and not chewy steak! I could go on and on about the menu but it’s all you can eat so come try everything for yourself! The waitress was so nice too and friendly as if we weren’t even strangers!! They were also very accessible in their bathroom and supplied toiletries and perfume for ladies. Not necessary but a thoughtful touch. I would come back to show friends and family this place!

We normally go to a different all you can eat sushi place which is fantastic, however, this place is much better. Excellent food, service. Also, you order via iPad, which makes it fast as well.
Definitely try this place

I feel like most all you can places are just ok – I felt compelled to leave a review for this place because not only was it clean, it the staff was so nice! And the food… was sooooo good. We typically order out for this style food but for the price we have it a shot, and surprisingly the food was amazing the portions were not big but not to small, total of 74.00$ for me and my husband, we got chicken, rice, 4 sushi rolls, beef and broccoli, a few different kinds of dumplings, and idk how many appetizers pluse soup…he did have a beer as well, and this was not including the tip…we ate until we were stuffed, we enjoyed it all and would 10000% come back. I’d almost rather sit in and dine here then get take out Chinese or Japanese.

the AYCE feels too good to be true, probably among the most reasonably priced in the area. 30 bucks seems like a lot but you get your money’s worth within only a couple orders. when i did it for the first time i tried all sorts of nigiri i’d never been able to afford to try bc usually its $1-$2 per piece alone and it was seriously one of the best experiences i had eating sushi! i recommend it for anybody who wants to try something new but doesnt want to spend money on something they may not end up liking. and they aren’t very meticulous about leftovers, my friend had a few rolls left and wasn’t charged extra. the vibes of the restaurant are really good too and they use up the space they have nicely, with good music too. the one lady server is also extremely friendly and really goes out of her way to interact with the people she serves and does her job with pure care and enthusiasm. the special rolls are also fire, especially the pheonix roll. the fish is always so fresh and the variety is awesome, one of my favorite spots and i hope they don’t change a thing!

I ordered chicken and shrimp to go. Excited to eat but discovered that the shrimp was mushy and out of date and the chicken was mushy also. I’d like a full refund. Can’t even eat this dinner now. It’s a shame.

This is one of my new favorite restaurants in the area. I really loved the intimate and elegant atmosphere, the friendly and attentive service, the beautiful dishes, and the abundance of vegetation options.

In particular the dressing they use on their salad is really good. I also got the teriyaki salmon which was outstanding, delicious and filling. The green tea was well brewed and the server filled my cup frequently without being asked.

I honestly would recommend this restaurant to just about anyone.

Edit: After the response from the owner, I will be setting this to 5 stars until I am able to visit again. I appreciate the change and the very personal reply. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

Original review: Was always good but they changed their ordering system to a much more draconian setup—customers are unable to order more than 10 items per person at a time, including small things like single pieces of sashimi. There’s a 10 minute wait time between orders now as well. I hope they change this policy.
