From the moment we walked in, the vibe was relaxed yet upscale: dim lighting, cozy booths, and that subtle coastal elegance that makes you feel like you’re dining like royalty without any pretension. The menu highlights premium cuts (their ribeye and filet were melt-in-your-mouth tender, cooked exactly to order with a beautiful sear) and creative sides that complement without overpowering—think truffle potatoes or tobacco onions that add just the right flair.
But what elevated the night from great to unforgettable was our server, Sara. She was absolutely phenomenal! Sara greeted us with genuine warmth, like we’d been regulars for years, and her knowledge of the menu and whiskey list was spot-on. She took the time to listen to our preferences, recommended pairings that were perfect and checked in just the right amount—attentive without hovering. Sara’s professionalism, friendliness, and personal touch turned what could have been a standard meal into a memorable evening.
Food was top-notch (5 stars across the board), and the service—especially Sara—made it feel personal and special. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and book a table at Whiskey Prime. Ask for Sara if you can—she’s the real MVP. We’ll definitely be back!
5/5 stars—highly recommend!
We arrived early on Saturdays and had no problem getting a table for four. We were approached by a polite waitress who took our drink orders and asked if we wanted any appetizers which we declined. When it was time to order, the waitress took our orders but did not write them down. Of course, our orders were incorrect and some items ordered were never served. This exact scenario happened the second time we came as well. I believe it may be the policy of the restaurant that requires employees to memorize orders which in theory is great but not when your orders are always wrong.
Toward the end of our meal, all drink refills stopped. We couldn’t even get our waters refilled.
This type of service wouldn’t be acceptable at a chain restaurant and certainly shouldn’t be acceptable here especially after spending $400.
One additional note, the acoustics in this restaurant are horrible so conversations are out of the question.
We will not be returning.
