Went here for lunch today. When I sat down at the booth, I just “plopped “ down on the seat because there was very little cushion on it.
The waitress was friendly and fast with our orders. I had the chicken tenders and waffle fries, and my husband tried the double patty melt with white beans; the patty melt was ok but needed some seasoning because it was kind of bland. For dessert I tried out their coconut cream pie; it was pretty good but the crust was a bit over baked. The food was not bad but they could improve on a few things.
Other than those small things, we were happy to see a clean restaurant and bathrooms. We always try to support local businesses whenever we can, and we want to come back and visit again soon.

I truly believe this might be one of the best grilled chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. No need for any fancy sauce or gimmicks — just good food done right. They slap it on some Texas toast with all the little fixins and call it a day. That’s how it oughta be. What a great meal. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the service was incredibly quick too. What a great meal.

First time we’ve been since ownership changed. Cleaner, quieter, brighter, and the foods soooo much better! Becca our server was on point. Talk about rural trust/manners? By a minor misunderstanding, the credit card machine was not available so it was cash only. Since neither my wife or I carry cash, Becca said hey, just bring it by later today or tomorrow if you can. Have you ever heard that before, ANYWHERE…IN YOUR LIFE??!! You bet we’ll be coming back again and again. Thanks Becca, and Blue Ribbon Diner for a delicious hearty breakfast, and the warm welcome feeling of trust and community!

One of their specials was Chili and grilled cheese. Let me tell you best chili I have had in a long time. The cook is AWESOME cook I know first hand cause she has fed me several times at her house. Service was excellent, friendly people, food was excellent, prices were reasonable. We had some great conversations, and laughs. I left with a full belly and smile.

We invited my sister and brother in law ro go eat at the Blue rRbbon Diner. Sister sent a text to me about their experience. She said, Cole and Lexie did a great job picking the staff. Meatloaf and catfish were perfect. Potatoes were real, fried okra crispy. 5 star rating. HER WORDS! Iagree!
