Decided to go out of my way to try this little diner today. I ordered the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and a side of macaroni and cheese.
The service was great. The lady who served me was kind, quick, and I never had my glass get more than two thirds empty. She was on it.
The food was fine, but a bit bland. Really, everything could have used more seasoning. The country fried steak was the one thing that I would say I would come back for.
The mashed potatoes would have been great. I loved the chunky bits of potato that were present. But they were so bland in their flavor. Same with the gravy. I’m not sure they put any salt in the gravy at all. And the same goes with the macaroni and cheese.
Nothing here was offensive. And everything was cooked really well. Just under seasoned on everything.
I might be back. I had a great experience at the coffee shop next door. So that will bring me back to the area and I might just try this place out again.

We are very unhappy with our experience. Two out of three orders were incorrect and we waited longer than we expected even after our server told us our food was almost done. Our wing and fries order came out with the wrong sauce and cold wings and with fries heavy with grease. The server did correct the wing order and brought out warm wings with the correct sauce. Our philly baked potato came out as a philly cheesesteak sandwich with a baked potato and no au jus. The server took off our cost of the philly cheesesteak, but as the incorrect item of the sandwich and baked potato when we ordered the philly steak baked potato. We will not be back.

Great food, fun atmosphere and good service. My favorite thing that i don’t see on the page was the breakfast buffet, they had biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, waffles, everything you can imagine and only for 12 bucks. Me and my family all 8 of us ate great and enjoyed the small town atmosphere. We were just passing through but we will sure come back.

A Disappointing Dining Experience
My recent visit to Wild Cat Cafe was frustrating from start to finish. The service was unacceptably slow, with a wait time that stretched well beyond reasonable expectations for a cafe.
When our food finally arrived, it was cold – a clear indication that it had been sitting out for some time. The eggs were completely overcooked and hard, making them virtually inedible. This level of poor food preparation is inexcusable for any establishment that calls itself a cafe.
Pros:
– None worth mentioning
Cons:
– Extremely long wait times
– Food served cold
– Poorly prepared eggs
– Subpar quality control
Would not recommend. There are far better breakfast options in the area that actually serve hot food in a timely manner.

What a great place for breakfast. I had the biscuit and gravy and my wife had the pumpkin pancakes. The coffee was great and the staff was very pleasant. Will definitely make sure we stop by here again on our way thru. This was a great find.
