I had delicious vegan food here and both dishes were made with care! The owner also asked about Oyster sauce which I don’t eat! He was very attentive to my request and was very kind and careful.
The tofu was DELICIOUS! Cauliflower was okay!

My go-to spot for Sichuan cuisine takeout. The flavors are authentic, and dishes like the twice cooked pork are must-orders. It’s one of the few places my dad genuinely enjoys, which says a lot.
The restaurant is located right across the street from South Coast Plaza, in an area with many dining options. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, service is quick and reliable. It’s a small space, but there are plenty of tables. A hidden gem for real Sichuan flavor.

Updated: second time here with groups of friends. The dishes are authentic and big portions! Highly recommend.
Fast take out- the Szechuan cold noodles came out fast, and was delicious with tasty sauce, just wished there were some protein options can be added.

We ordered SO many dishes and loved them all. Leaving a review so we can remember how to find this spot on our next visit!

Had the spicy cabbage, frog, and shrimp fried rice. The fried rice was just ok, but the other two dishes were great. The frog had a great texture and didn’t taste fishy with a good numbing spice profile. The cabbage was actually my favorite. The staff was nice. Order a Beijing yogurt. It’s just a sweet yogurt, but can offset the spice. EDIT: order the items with thumbs up. The spicy wontons and the garlic eggplant weren’t good but the items with thumbs up were good.

Empty midday. The fried chicken with peppers was good. Very spicy. Szechuan noodles were flavorful but didn’t love the texture of the noodles.

This is a Szechwan Zone. If you enjoy Spicy Chinese, this is the place. Like so many good restaurants in California, it is Innocuously located in a strip mall. We had excellent food and service. The restaurant furnishings have been updated. Prices were very reasonable. Our bill for 4 people came to $100. I encourage those who had negative experiences years ago to give this another chance.

Tasty zone is a yummy spicy Chinese restaurant. Newly renovated dive covid it has a fun vibe. It’s not a big restaurant so if you are coming at lunch or dinner hours there may be a wait. There is plenty of parking and well located in the shopping center at the corner.
The service is good. Nothing over the top but friendly and efficient.
The food is yummy and spicy. It is served hot and fresh. The menu is large with a huge variety to choose from spicy, ma la and not spicy. I recommend getting the yogurt if getting spicy if you are not used to it.

What a terrible dining experience! I was shocked to find hair in my food, and the indifferent tone and bad attitude of the waitress really shocked me. I really regret choosing to try the dishes here! It turns out that all those who gave bad reviews have their reasons! That waitress in the restaurant simply shouldn’t be working in the service industry. She should be a queen at home!

First off I almost left before ordering due to the state of the restruant. Small not very clean my shoes even stuck a bit to the floor and the menus just felt well grimy. But I was convinced to stay by a hungry friend. So we got spicy noodles, spicy pork, and beef fried rice. The spicy pork (not all that spicy) & beef fried rice were good, meat was tender and they had a good taste. The spicy noodles well maybe they were just not for us, as they had a very strong metallic taste so we did not eat them. Over all two dishes where good one not so much, and sadly it was not very clean
