We ended up here as a happy accident. We didn’t realize the brewery was closed at this location and were thrilled to find this spot open instead. Upon entering we found a really cute place with tables and some bar seating. It has a cute and casual atmosphere with popular songs playing but in blue grass style. It wasn’t busy because they just opened for the day so we were seated immediately. We were happy to see they carried beer from Wayland, a local brewery from our area. We ordered drinks and food and it came out quickly. Our server was attentive and was able to speak to all our menu questions to ensure we got what we needed. I ordered a class of Pinot Grigio and the Martha salad with grilled chicken. It was absolutely delicious, very flavorful and tasty. The cilantro and dates were a nice add on to a salad. The dates were a nice sweet contrast to the salty goat cheese. I was impressed that they had a lot of healthy and gf options that were wonderful and didn’t feel like an afterthought on the menu. I am told the blackstrap bbq chicken sandwich was wonderful. The chicken and onion straws were nice and crispy. The bbq sauce wasn’t overpowering but added a nice addition to the sandwich. The onion ring on top was a huge bonus and the fries were perfection, possibly the star of the show. I’d highly recommend if you are in the area. We hope to be able to come back another time soon.

Was checking out the local area and this place caught my eye. It was recommended to me and now I understand why. They were having $5 pint beers which include all your specialty beers which is unheard of and they were doing 50% off appetizers (except the pork belly which is market price up here).

I had the clouds in the sky and the 1812 beers which were both excellent, flavorful and not overly hoppy. I also had the duck wings with the buffalo maple sauce which was outstanding! They had a wonderful fry on the duck wings and the sauce was a perfect blend (im not the biggest buffalo sauce guy).

They do not have a view of the water, so be aware, there is another resturant next to them that blocks that view.

They did have Coyote and Crow come play on the patio which was a refreshing folk acoustic, folk punk type style. Couldn’t find them on Spotify but hopefully they have music out there somewhere.

I had the pleasure of being taken care of by the assistant manager Elizabeth who was extremely helpful and caring. Good luck when you help to open the second location in Watertown!

We visit every summer to Upstate NY. Found this place about a year ago and was blown away from the tasty chicken sandwiches to the fried pickle slices. Definitely a place to stop by if you’re ever in Sackets Harbor.

It’s not a hidden gem because it’s nestled right on the main tourist strip of Sackets Harbor, but still a gem. Fantastic food, atmosphere, and dining experience. You have your choice of outdoor or indoor dining. Due to the higher winds, we opted for indoor dining. Our hostess was pleasant and sat us at a quaint spot. We did have to wait for almost 8 minutes before someone approached us for our drink selection, but once the food arrived, that slow service was forgotten. We started with the corn fritters, which were amazing, served with honey mustard dipping sauce. They were bite-sized with just enough sweet corn filling inside to indulge your taste buds. My husband opted for The Hot Mess sandwich with Dill Potato salad. He actually ate all of his food without hesitation, so that led me to believe he was impressed with its taste. It looked great to me. I did taste the dill potato salad, and it was full of flavor. Delicious. I chose to try The Hot Chick sandwich. Hands down one of the greatest chicken sandwiches I have ever eaten. Served on a toasted brioche bun, atoped by bacon and with a spicy honey drizzle. Our son went with his classic choice, chicken tenders, and fries. The fries are hand cut and super appeasing. We will definitely visit this location as I hope you do as well. The prices are little steep, but truly worth it if you love a good piece of fried chicken with a southern flair.

We visited Sackets on Saturday and stumbled across this little gem. My husband had the regular grilled chicken sandwich which came with fresh cut fries and he added a side salad for a small upcharge. I had the Cajun chicken sandwich. Both sandwiches were delicious. The salad was made with nice fresh lettuce. The french fries were fresh cut fries and I got house made chips with my sandwich which were wonderful. The service was excellent. We can’t wait to go back the next time we visit Sackets.

Loved the Whiskey Coop! Have had several friends tell me I need to go and I finally went for my birthday dinner! The pork belly appetizer was soooo delicious and the fried chicken was light and crispy. I skipped dessert but I am looking forward to my next visit!

Every time we go here for bourbon drinks, we have the greatest service & the most fun. The bartender is always happy to smoke our ice balls and talk whiskey to us. I haven’t had a ton of food there, but what I have had has been good. Recently had the corn, fritters and pulled pork tacos and both were very good.

Delicious chicken selections. The place was packed but we were told from the start there would be a 15 minute wait. We decided to stick it out. Worth the wait. And even after being seated they were very apologetic about the wait time. Beer was good and my chicken sandwich choice was nice and spicy the way I like it.

We were very pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant in sackett’s harbor with a full vegan menu (in addition to the regular menu). The restaurant specializes in chicken and dishes can be made with your choice of regular or meatless chicken. The meatless chicken was so good – chewy texture and chicken flavor, yum! My kid loved the vegan chicken and waffles. We would have loved to try the vegan pecan pie but they didn’t have it on the day we were here. The Kentucky Mule cocktail was also perfection!

Tried their duck wings, was mainly breaded with little meat. Couldn’t taste duck although it was duck. Bbq duck as a whole is much more tasty. There’s better options on the menu I would go back to.

Their homemade brownie Sunday was delicious.
