The atmosphere is warm, authentic, and delightfully quaint—you can feel it’s a family-owned gem the moment you walk in. From the heartfelt greetings to the incredibly fresh and flavorful Thai dishes, everything was made with care and love. And the homemade chili oil? Absolutely to die for. We loved it so much, we bought a jar to take home! A truly memorable evening—we’ll definitely be back.

Must try! Cozy restaurant that’s a real gem. The service was outstanding. Our waitress took time to give us the low-down of some must-see places during our trip. She was friendly and personable. The food was some of the best Thai cuisine we’ve had. The veggies were even from their garden, and the flavors were on point to match the care they put into making it. Definitely recommend!

The atmosphere when you walk in is cozy, eclectic and warm. The best low-fi music playing softly in the background. It’s a beautifully run family business, and they’re very attentive and accommodating. We had the combo platter, the drunken noodles and the pad Thai. Everything was so, so delicious and it was hard to stop eating even after we were full. It was surprisingly quiet for a Friday night, but we did there at opening, which was great for us because it was so relaxed. We will be coming here and only here whenever we get a craving for Thai, ambiance and amazing customer service. Seriously, you have to try it out.

First time here and we are coming from Lake Country. We were craving Thai food and thought this place looked decent. It’s a pretty dated and worn out place. The chairs are very wobbly and very uncomfortable and very worn down as is the floor and a lot of the finishings. But if you don’t care about the aesthetics then come and check it out cuz the food was really delicious and the service was great. I wanted soup as a starter but it was like $18 or $20 which I thought was too much for a soup.
We had the appetizer sampler with two spring rolls, two chicken satays and two shrimp rolls and they were all very delicious and the three sauces they came with were amazing. We both had pad Thai and although it looked like a small serving it was a high heap and it was very filling and very tasty and creamy. One of the best I’ve ever had.

Visitor to Vernon and Thai cuisine was on my eat list.Picked this restaurant because of the reviews and was highly recommended by a local. I ordered the Tom Yum Gai and a side of rice. The flavour was good, but in my opinion it tasted like as if it had too much tamarind seasoning in it (even tho it might not have any). If you like mushroom, there’s lots! But if you like chicken then be prepared for a few super thin strips! However, I must note that my 3 friends who came with me for dinner really enjoyed their various curry dishes.
Service was great—fast and friendly server. The restaurant decor is dated but place is cozy.

I really wanted to like this place. It’s a beautiful restaurant with lots of appropriate decor. The restaurant is family owned. It had really good reviews. The pictures look pretty good, so maybe what I got was a result of a bad night or changes in their cooking…
I ordered the Thai hot wings, which was described to me as an appetizer size consisting of about 6 to 8 wings. The description on this dish describes it as “juicy” however what I got was extremely dry. The meat was tough and chewy and barely had any chicken juice at all. The bone exposed. Very dry. I tried two of the “biggest” wings and then threw the rest out.
However disappointing the meat was, the flavor was good and it had a spicy ginger with tangy sour sauce.
Considering the price was almost $20 I do not think this dish is worth it. To be honest I wouldn’t mind the price if the quality of chicken wings were up to par. For example they can include the whole wing with the tip drumlet and flat attached and take more care into frying them so that they do not result in dry tough meat.
The pad Thai was good. The portions were big they give alot of noodles. They gave seven prawns. It doesn’t have a strong wok or fire taste but overall is decent!

Well I hate to write this review but…officially the worst Pad Thai I’ve ever eaten. Visiting from another province and place came highly recommended. Sauce is definitely not tamarind based. Broccoli and carrots? Not in pad Thai. Ordered the veggie option and had about three pieces of tofu. Other dish was Pad Seew Ew and it was just as bland and tasteless. Sorry but this is an honest review. Delivery was prompt.

I had been to Amarin Thai a few times in the past, it was always good. This time is was less than good. The veggie dishes were so small (for $20), the veggies came out essentially raw, the sauces were good but the other dishes disappointing. The Pad Thai was soupy and brown. I don’t know what happened to the quality. It was so disappointing to go back after I had previously had good experiences. I will not be going back. On the upside if you pay cash you get 10% off. However it still would not entice me to go again.

We really enjoyed the food there. Service was great too. The decor is dated and a bit musty smelling. Not bad though and I would still highly recommend it. It really was good food.
