Well, I walked in as a first time customer, and I guess the employees were sitting at a table with a computer possibly doing business. I wasn’t sure where to order, but soon a sweet young lady approached the counter and I assumed she was the one to take my order. It wasn’t exactly the friendliest greeting, however, she was polite. I had done my research on Google maps and hoped that I would figure out what to order because I had no idea what a banhmi sandwich was until I asked chat gpt. lol One thing I noted was that the prices were higher than what people had posted in their reviews on Google. That was a disappointment. I ordered a Vientnamese Grilled Beef Banhmi. Service was fast, and the sandwich was wrapped nicely and put in a bag to go. The place is small, so plan to possibly eat somewhere else or in your car. So, I got back to my car and opened the package. It looked beautiful and healthy. Tons of assorted greens on top of the chopped grilled beef and the bread was not soft, but had an interesting almost cracker texture which I did like. I took a bite, and I must say I liked it. There was lemon grass, jalapeño, and a pickle sphere too. It was a unique flavor. I had gotten some sauce in a to go cup because I figured the sandwich might be a little dry..and I was right. I really like the different flavors, but I wish my steak was warm. It was room temp which sucked. I would eat it again, but I felt the price was a little expensive for just a sandwich. It was just over $8. Anyway, glad I tried it..and I discovered that I like lemon grass. Not blown away, but not hating it either.

Came for a lunch meal with my family. I had the Grill pork Banh Mi and it was out of this world. My family got k BBQ Beef and chicken teriyaki they love their choice.

I recently had a craving for Banh Mi and decided to give Be Banh Mi a try! With such great reviews online, I wanted to experience it for myself — so here’s my honest take.

I ordered both the Classic and the Chicken Banh Mi, and they were excellent! The flavors were fresh, the bread had that perfect crunch, and the portion size was generous. Definitely a great value for the price. I also tried the sugar cane juice, which was refreshing and paired well with the meal.

Where the experience fell a bit short for me was the customer service. Although the restaurant wasn’t very busy, I would have appreciated a bit more engagement, such as menu guidance or recommendations. A warmer touch and more attentive service would have made the visit even better.

Overall, I’d still recommend giving Be Banh Mi a try. Especially for the food quality and value. With just a bit more hospitality, it could easily be a top-tier experience.

My friend & I trekked all the way to Doraville for some good Bành Mí. The places we originally wanted were closed, but Be Bành Mí DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I’ve never had this sandwich before and I absolutely LOVE it! The flavors burst in your mouth and complement each other so well! And the service was fast and friendly too!

Cannot recommend this place enough! 5 stars!

This is a great place for Vietnamese sandwiches. It brought back memories of when my sister used to buy bánh mì for me on weekends. What always left a strong impression on me was the perfectly crispy bread, paired with fresh cucumber strips and cilantro, along with their signature marinated meats. One bite is enough to feel incredibly satisfying.

This time, I ordered the grilled pork bánh mì. The flavor was very close to what I remembered, but the addition of egg butter and pickled jalapeños made it even more flavorful and rich. I ended up finishing two sandwiches by myself—they were that addictive. Definitely delicious, though probably best enjoyed once in a while so it doesn’t get too heavy.

Wow, I don’t know if maybe I just haven’t had a fresh banh mi in a while or if this place is just that good! I usually go with the classic and it definitely hit the spot. I went with the regular bread vs the “breadstick” because it was my first time so I wanted to get a good baseline and man… it was so light and crispy and warm and was a great balance in the bread:filling ratio – I actually think they bake the bread in-house because I spotted one of them bringing in more bread on the actual baking tray with the bread shapes.

Also got an iced milk coffee which was wonderfully strong and just the right amount of sweetness for me! And the shop was very cute and clean and had fun music playing, too.

At a little over $6 a sandwich, I’m definitely gonna be ordering in bulk for my family next time.

I’ve been going to Be Bánh Mì in both Duluth and Doraville for a long time, and the Doraville location is definitely my favorite. The staff there are always friendly, patient, and take their time to make sure your order is right. The Vietnamese bread is perfectly crispy and full of flavor. If you go, I highly recommend trying the chicken glazed—it’s delicious!
