Oakwood Pizza is a great spot to hang out with friends and enjoy solid comfort food. The location is convenient, the place has been nicely renovated, and the atmosphere feels fresh and welcoming.
I always judge a pizza place by its buffalo chicken pizza, and Oakwood absolutely nails it. The dough is thin and crispy, the flavors are spot on, and the balance of chicken, sauce, and cheese is perfect. The bacon and chicken slice is also an easy A+. Don’t skip the garlic knots—they’re delicious and a great side.
On top of the food, the staff is friendly and attentive, which makes the experience even better. Overall, a fantastic place for great pizza, comfort food, and a good time.

Today, at 3:12 PM, I placed an order for delivery. A large ham, turkey, and salami sandwich with provolone, lettuce, and tomatoes. Pretty simple, right?
After waiting an hour, the order finally arrived… but the sandwich was missing two of the main ingredients. No ham, no salami, even though I was charged for them. When I called, the manager offered either $5 off or to deliver the missing meat (which “could take a while”).
I’ve been a loyal customer of Oakwood Pizza for years, but over the past year, I’ve noticed a decline in both quality and customer service. Calls are now answered with just a “hello,” without even identifying the business. The last time we ordered, the wings were overcooked and dry, and now this.
It’s disheartening to see a local restaurant, one that’s been part of our community for so long lose sight of what made people support them in the first place: great food and genuine service. As local businesses struggle to stay open, I truly hoped Oakwood Pizza would rise to the occasion, not fall behind.
Sadly, after this experience and the rudeness shown today, I can no longer support this establishment. I always try to root for small businesses, but respect and care for customers should never be optional.

What a pleasant surprise! Never know what to expect when you order a buffalo chicken pizza and I am happy to say I was very pleased! Will def order it again. The works pizza was also tasty! Also, appreciated the different size options you could get for each pizza.

I ordered two personal pepperoni pies and wings and the total came to $60…insane for what was ordered. I can go to any other establishment and $60 could pay for four-five large pies with wings. In addition one of the delivery drivers…a young guy. Had a trump flag on the hood of his truck. I don’t care too much for political advertisment with businesses that I patron…keep that separate. Needless to say due to the cost and political view I stopped going. On a positive side I realized there are great pizza options in the area to experience.

Old fashion Italian decor, made me feel very welcome. Than I ate, food was delicious. Pizza had a tasty dough. The garlic knots tasted like garlic knots, usually not enough garlic but here was perfect. Workers were very nice and helpful, can’t find that everywhere but here I felt like family. Will go back

Ordered pizza 45 min ago. We got there to pick up our pizza and they never made them. Then they told us it’s another 30 min to make 3 pies. As my husband was going to pay he saw the guy making the pizza proceed to pick his nose while making people’s food. THAT IS DISGUSTING! I will never order from them again. This is not the first time I have had issues with this place. You have been a staple of the neighborhood for 30 yrs maybe it’s time to pack it in.

Me and my family have gone to Oakwood Pizza for my entire life, I have memories as a kid eating here and this place has always been a go-to spot for my family.
However, in the past year 2025/2024, we’ve noticed a dramatic decline in the food quality. Not sure if it’s a new cook or new management/owner. But this place is just not the same anymore. It’s unfortunate how things have turned out for this place, it used to be so freaking good. But now they seem to be pretty consistent in how bad the food is so I cannot recommend this place anymore and my family has found other good pizza places nearby to be regulars for!
