We decided to stop in for a late lunch on Sunday, which would’ve been around 2ish. The place wasn’t overly busy, but there were several people that came in. I did notice there were a lot of takeouts. The place was clean. The service was great and attentive.
The food was OK. It wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it wasn’t the worst either. I will say the portions were decent sized for the cost.
The food seemed fresh. I think it was just our personal opinion on the flavor. The general chicken wasn’t spicy at all, and a little too sweet for our preference. The other dish (shrimp with cashews) was ok, but the celery definitely overpowered the dish (most of the veg was celery). The egg rolls, although the flavor was good, was definitely overcooked.
Would we try again? Yes, probably.
I mean, I wouldn’t necessarily go out of my way to go there again, but if the option came up, sure.

Sadly this is the 2nd visit to get take out from CK and my daughter tried to tell me I didn’t like it the first time, but I didn’t listen. The chicken had to be the worst grade of meat ever as it was just chunks of gristly fatty dark meat and there was no flavor at all. The fried rice was nasty tasting…like maybe way too much soy sauce & onion burnt. Smelled like dirty socks…I tried adding some sauce but I threw half or more away. The crab rangoon however was good.

Everybody. There’s super fun and chilled. Their food’s always immaculate, and they always say, 10 minutes, and they do in fact, deliver and 10 minutes, most of the time less absolutely goated I hope they’ll last until I perish.

Good place. The chicken was almost burnt beyond editable. I’d rather have clearly cooked chicken than undercooked though so it wasn’t a big deal.

4-spring rolls, lg egg drop soup, side of green beans totaling $17 and change. Green beans look and taste like they were pulled from trash, wonton for egg drop soup are super stale. Dude pulled soup from buffet, yet he told me it would take 15-20 minutes…it has no flavor. I could have pulled from buffet for 1/2 the price. Always extremely delicious always great customer service great prices I always recommend this wonderful restaurant they are closed on Tuesday starting in October I do believe I think I’m pretty sure it was last October so he they are closed on Tuesdays but the best China King around I love it!
