We ordered a variety of different foods: chicken club sandwich, bun kabob, brisket philly cheesesteak, Alfredo pasta and bun kabob. Everything was delicious and our server was very polite. I came here for my birthday dinner on my family’s recommendation, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice! We really enjoyed the amazing food and the welcoming atmosphere. The service was seamless, the food was exceptional, and the hookah was top-quality. They went above and beyond with every little detail, and it showed.

The first part food was amazing
I had issue with the service I came with my friends and we sat outside and it was chilly
The waiter took 30 minutes just to come to us when he did he took the order ( we also ordered a hookah ) and asked about drinks ; 3 of my friends wanted soda and he said he’ll get back to us on it
After a while the food came and we asked about the drinks again he said he’ll let us know and disappeared for 15 min and came back said the drinks we wanted they were out of stock so we got sprite.
We ordered a hookah flavor which my friend suggested he tried a few times before but this time it was waay to strong
When we were finished we wanted to pay & leave we couldn’t find waiter or tools the waiter a while to come
Overall the food was amazing the waiting time was too long

I would like to share my wonderful experience at Mystic Bistro, and especially thank Aamir for his excellent service. From the moment we arrived, Aamir made us feel very welcome and comfortable. He was very polite and respectful throughout our visit.
Aamir was very helpful with his suggestions. He took the time to explain the menu clearly and recommended dishes that suited our taste. His suggestions were perfect, and we truly enjoyed every item we ordered. It was clear that he knows the menu very well and genuinely cares about the guests having a great dining experience.
What stood out the most was his courteous and calm attitude. He was always attentive without being intrusive. He checked on us regularly to make sure everything was good and responded quickly whenever we needed anything. Even during busy moments, he remained patient, friendly, and professional.
Because of Aamir’s excellent service, our visit to Mystic Bistro was even more enjoyable. His positive attitude and dedication made a big difference, and it left a lasting impression on us. Lovely indoor space with lots of accents to make it even more appealing!.. it was quite busy when we went but even then service was fast.
We ordered the papri chat, which was 6/10, club sandwiches 9/10, chicken tender and fries( ok) and tea which was not good, tasted burnt. Over all the place is nice and with a few adjustments, it can do even better!

Casual relaxed environment if you want to do hookah. Table top hookah was good. The drinks we ordered were a total waste of money. They were watered down versions of mitchells mango sherbet. I had ordered the pineapple coconut drink and it had no taste of either.
To eat we ordered the club sandwich which was delicious pakistani style. Also ordered bun kabab which was tiny and tasted average. Fries served were cold so we requested them to change it. A good customer service would have been to get us fresh fries but they took the whole bun kabab tray and returned back after 5 mins with some new fries and ofcourse that made our bun kabab cold.
Service was pretty slow and we had to flag down our server couple of times.
I also found the couches to be very uncomfortable and low which made it hard to enjoy the food. The floor had trash on the floor which showed lack of attention to maintain cleanliness. When we entered there was a huge ladder right on the entrance and we had to literally jump past it to enter. If they want to fix the tv atleast find a time when customers are not there.
all in all, considering so many hookah lounges in Houston, i would not be returning here or recommending it to friends or family.

Positives: I tried this place for the first time today. The interior decor blew me away. I fell in LOVE with their rustic rich warm carved wood wall hangings, old world details and chandeliers! Truly creates such a warm atmosphere!!!
I tried the bbq platter with two sides. It was elegantly presented and was decent and fair priced. Turkey was a bit dry, fries were crisp and perfectly seasoned and hummus was thick and subtle in flavor. I’m on a nutrition detox plan currently so couldn’t try much else but will def be back to try other items. Service could be more attentive and faster but they had a huge group doing high tea there so I think they were busy with them and short staffed bc of that today.
They were sweet and brought an extra chocolate bar treat for our group to try which was a nice touch!
Tip: They charge 18 percent service charge automatically so you don’t need to tip. Keep in mind as I didn’t know I caught it after and they immediately reversed it.

The food here is absolutely phenomenal. If they had a location closer to me, I’d be a regular. I’ve tried the club sandwiches, rice plates, burgers—you really can’t go wrong, everything tastes great. I’m not a hookah person myself, but based on what I’ve heard from others, it’s a solid spot for that too. The space is a bit on the smaller side, so if you’re coming with a big group, it might feel a little tight.
