Within easy walking distance of the UMN campus. We had the blue crab hand roll, dinkytown roll and Vegas roll to start. They were all absolutely amazing, full of flavor and fresh ingredients. The spam misubi was perfect with proportions of each ingredient. The tuna and salmon sashimi shocked us with the serving size as well as the wonderful flavor. Will definitely return and recommend to everyone.

Absolutely love that I found this place just going off of Google reviews Thank you my people… Definitely led me to the right place but onigiri was amazing and the spam musubi was great.

The food came out quick and was all good! I tried a few different items on the menu. They were all flavorful! I’ll definitely be back and try other things on the menu. The staff were right away welcoming and kind. The space is small but it’s a cute space with all windows and lanterns hanging from the ceiling- it’s charming.

Was our first time there. The owner was super pleasant and helpful. The food came out quickly and everything was tasty and reasonably priced. We got the gyoza, edamame, two hand rolls, and the firecracker roll. It was $40 which at most other places would have been over $60.

This is me and my boyfriend’s favorite spot to grab sushi! We’ve been coming here for a while, and the food never disappoints. The sushi is always fresh and flavorful especially the spicy tuna roll, which is our go to. We’ve also tried other dishes! everything is always so delicious and well prepared.
The customer service is consistently great. The staff is super friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being too much. You can tell they care about their customers and want everyone to have a good experience.
The atmosphere is also really pretty and relaxing clean, cozy, and perfect for date nights or even just a casual meal. We always leave full and happy. Highly recommend this place!

I LOVE this place. The staff are so incredibly nice they’re always so bright every time I go in. Their fish is so fresh, I get the salmon sashimi and it is buttery, not fishy at all, their rolls always have a ton of filling they don’t mostly fill it with rice, overall amazing. They’re tucked away in a hallway so they don’t get a lot of foot traffic. If you’re thinking about eating here please do! It’s my favorite place in Dinkytown and I’d love for them to stay open with great business!

It’s genuinely been my favorite spot in the Twin Cities since it first opened. It’s such a gem. I’ve eaten there countless times, and it’s been delicious and fresh every single time. The spicy salmon handrolls are perfection. Please try them!! I also love that you can get a side of masago there. I get it every single time!
The owner is extremely thoughtful and always goes above and beyond to make his customers feel appreciated. He even remembered mine and my husband’s names and gave us ice cream for New Year’s!! Him and his family are very hardworking and deserve nothing but 5 stars.
