I had the Primo Special for lunch. It was delicious. The chips and salsa were great as well (the sign of a great Mexican restaurant ). The restaurant was clean and appealing. My Alex was great and even sent me with a soda to go when he brought my bill. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area.

I had a waiter that was rude to me just because I told him in a very nice way, he forgot something that I had ordered, I tried to speak to another employee about it and got no where.
I went back several times after that, and that same employee never wanted to wait on me and my family, even though I wanted so much to find out what I had done to make him treat me so disrespectful.
But what finally broke the camel’s back was, we were there after church one Sunday, and where I was seated I had a clear view of the entrance of the kitchen, and when I bit down on my quesadilla, there was nothing but chicken fat no chicken and I just so happen to look in that direction and there was the rude guy and 2 others laughing at me.
Needless to say I haven’t been back and I never well.

We were sat quickly, Our waitress Was very quick on coming to our table for our drinks, It was as much time as we needed to make our order, The food came out hot ready and very good, Service was amazing they took really good care of this while we were there, It is very authentic vibe, I hide the recommended restaurant as one of the best Mexican restaurants here in Meridian. The price is very reasonable and you get your money’s worth.

I was a regular here for quite some time but it’s been a few years since I’ve been here. I recently came back and it’s as if I never left. Everything was great but what was most impressive was the staff who remembered me and greeted me after so long. The food was awful. Ground meat was horrible. My kids said it was worse than school meat. Even the salsa was bad; tasted like ketchup. The staff was nice, but the food was inedible. I didn’t know Mexican food could be that bad.

We stopped in based on review’s & proximity. The best thing about La Pinata is by and far the interior decoration, it is bright & festive. Now as far as the food, though it wasn’t bad, it also wasn’t great, it was simply average Mexican fare. Service was average also, the football game on the TV nearest us held more of the servers attention than us & the other diners in their section.
