Visiting from up north. Did a to-go order tonight on the way home from the gym. Ordered a regular size tri-tip steak salad and got home to absolutely ZERO steak on my salad. I kept digging around thinking maybe the steak was at the bottom and still nothing. Livid because I was starving after a long workout and was looking forward to the protein —and they were closed by the time I got home. In all the years I have eaten at and loved cubby’s up north, I have never had this happened. That’s one hella expensive bowl of lettuce—and I left a tip!! I’m pissed.

We stopped in with the whole crew and everyone found something they liked—which is no small feat when you’re feeding five kids. I had the street tacos (so good), and my wife went with the tri-tip steak salad. She was a little underwhelmed—said it needed something more to round it out—but everything else was spot on.
The sweet potato fries—next level. Crispy, salty, a little sweet. The burgers were a hit with the kids, and the whole menu just feels fresh and vibrant.
The vibe here fits St. George perfectly—bright, modern, clean, and still laid back. Whether you’re coming in sweaty from a hike or dressed up for a casual lunch date, it works.
Definitely adding this to our regular rotation when we’re in town.

This is a nice clean and yummy place to eat! I love the rosemary fries and tri-tip salad but I feel like you can’t go wrong with anything you order here. It’s always fresh and the staff are super helpful in getting your order right.

Asked if they could customize the grilled cheese and he asked what are you thinking?
Mom used to make a Poor Man’s Pizza, cheese with a slice of tomato and a pinch of oregano… He said sounds Good, we can do that… Not many places are that flexible.

Cubby’s is hands down my favorite place to eat. The Cock-a-Doodle-Doo chicken sandwich is honestly one of the best things I’ve ever eaten — the chicken is unbelievably good, and whatever their secret is, it works. I also love that it’s a healthier meal and that the ingredients are always fresh and high quality.
They’re consistently great about customizing orders too — anytime I’ve asked for ingredients to be removed, they’ve gotten it right without issue. The rosemary fries are absolutely amazing and a must-have. On top of the food, the staff are incredibly kind, the bathrooms are clean, tables are always well maintained, and the atmosphere is welcoming with a really nice layout. Amazing food, great service, and an all-around excellent experience every time.

Hiking With the Dog
Tried Cubby’s for the first time today. Great food!! We feel lucky to have an option like this, where we can eat out and it’s so much healthier for us. It tasted awesome and we’re looking forward to going back. The atmosphere is very casual, nothing fancy, very plain. But what we really enjoyed was the TV, which had a good channel where you could see sky diving and other interesting things. The restaurant was CLEAN, and very pleasant to be in. Again, we feel lucky to have a place like this available here. They have all kinds of things on the menu I want to try, for both vegans and meat-lovers. Good job, Cubby’s!!

Hands down some of the best tri-tip I’ve ever had! We ended up at Cubby’s in St George by mistake and let me tell you, it’s one of the best, most tastiest mistakes I’ve ever made, and I’m glad to have done it!! Don’t ever close down! I most highly recommend this place if you’re never in the area! ❤️
