Food is great! Service was really good. Whoever picked the chairs for that restaurant should be fired. The worst chairs. They are so deep you cannot sit comfortably or get close to your food to eat. It’s great having an outdoor restaurant but with the humidity and heat it is so uncomfortable. The fans don’t do anything except move the hot air around.

This Italian restaurant is phenomenon! The service is fast and very professional. Food is extraordinarily good with the rich flavors in all the dishes with fresh and high end ingredients. The restaurant is located next to the lake that makes the view and the overall dining experience very pleasant.
Highlights of the menu:
1. Homemade bread – with butter, olive oil and vinegar
2. Crust bread
3. Risotto
4. Fettuccini Al Fungi
5. Catch of the Day: Sea-bass with lime and a different kind of risotto
6. Red wine

Located in the Banyon tree hotel, the food was over delicious and a nice break of eating Italian food instead of Mexican food every day. The only knock I will give is the carbonara wasn’t very good compared to others I’ve had. The pancetta was large and chewy versus being crispy. The sauce was too creamy if that is even possible. That being said the chicken Parmesan was great..granted HUGE. Definitely split that for two people if you get it

The manager Luis was fantastic! He recommended the best dish, the best wine and went above and beyond and brought my husband some Garorade because he was dehydrated from the sun. Also! The tiramisu was out of this world!! I was skeptical about Italian food in Mexico, but woooow! Sooo good! Very true to Banyan Tree standards, the service is top-notch and food is SO good!!

All of our dishes were delicious! Large portions, great drinks and a wonderful atmosphere. Service was a bit slow but we weren’t in a hurry so didn’t mind. Highly recommend!

We were on vacation and had the pleasure of enjoying an outdoor dinner at Cell. The vibes were 10/10 and the food was absolutely amazing! The highlight of our entire experience was our server, Gilmer. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely made our night unforgettable. I honestly want to come back to Mexico just to dine with him again at Cello! Highly recommend if you’re visiting or staying at a nearby hotel. Don’t miss this place!

Absolutely incredible meal last night at Cello! The short rib and gnocchi were out of this world!!!! My wife had the catch of the day and loved it as well. Sitting right on the water in this beautiful restaurant was perfect. And to top it all off, the service was top notch. Couldn’t have asked for a better meal and would highly recommend. Only wish we would have went our first night and not our last, so we could have returned! Be sure to check with your hotel for a reservation if none are available online. The Andaz was able to get us in same day even though there were no reservations available for the next 3 days online.

Surprisingly good food, carpaccio di manzo starter was excellent coupled with the lemon and fresh Parmesan. Entrees were also extremely tasty, tagliatelle with shrimp and the spaghetti carbonara.
