Our minds were blown! This is one of the best Indian restaurants we’ve tried around toledo—and hands down the closest to the flavors you’d find in a metro city in India. The taste was spot-on, authentic, and the service was excellent. The ambiance is warm, welcoming, and pretty decent for a casual dine-in experience. We would highly recommend this place!
What we ordered (photos didn’t do it justice, but the flavors absolutely did):
• Manchow Soup
• Chicken Chilly
• Chicken Nilgiri
• Chicken Xacuti (10/10)
• Triple Schezwan Fried Rice
• Lamb Chops (amazing presentation!)
• Naan Basket

After trying food from Indian restaurants in the Toledo area, and not happy with the quality of food there, decided to try this one out, had the chili paneer and schezwan chicken fried rice, which both tasted good and the paneer was soft too, but would have been better if they used less food color. Updated ordered for a Schezwan chicken fried, thought it would be as good as the last time, but disappointed, it was just horrible, also smelt weird . Update came to the restaurant for dine in, had the chili chicken, chicken 65, nilgiri chicken and chicken biryani, everything was a disappointment, service was good.

This place has some of the best Indian food I’ve ever tasted. I am also gluten free (celiac) and they have SO many options! The Mutter Paneer is my personal favorite, but the Tika Masala is also phenomenal. Each member of my family has a different favorite menu item. They have something for everyone and flavors to delight anyone!

Went here for dinner. It was delicious. Service was great. The atmosphere wasn’t too loud despite there being a full restaurant. My only a few complaints, they use some type of cloves spice that has seeds(quite a bit) and they were still in the dish so had to pick them out and oh they don’t tell you they put cilantro on top so if you have the soap gene remember to tell the not to. I ordered the curry chicken, it is made with a mix of dark and white meat chicken, if you’re a look at your food type of person and don’t like the look of dark meat I wouldn’t get it or just don’t look (they should mention this on the menu). We will definitely be back though.

Dined in with 8 people on Wednesday and we had the most delicious, authentic Indian food here out of all the places in Ohio! Services was so nice and welcoming and food came out fast. We ordered the chili paneer for one of the appetizers and it was a 10/10, the paneer just melts in your mouth. And cheese butter masala is a must try! The Amul cheese was so rich in flavor and creamy, def one of my fav dishes here. The naan completes just the meal. It was super crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. You can tell it was homemade instead of the frozen ones you get at some places. The triple fried rice was also very good and seasoned well and perfect for those who want Indo-Chinese food! The Gobi on top was so crispy and the serving sizes are so big. Definitely recommend this place!

Made a trip up to BG on the recommendation of friends, and The Curry Lounge does NOT disappoint! The staff is warm and welcoming, and the food… delicious isn’t a good enough word! The chef knows what he is doing, and I was transported back to my early 20’s when my friend’s mom would cook for us. We tried a couple appetizers, 2 dishes and some naan. The Aloo Tikka Chaat was a first time dish for us, and we will be getting it again. The chicken in both entrees was cooked perfectly and the Nilgiri was another first time dish- and hit all the right notes of warmth, brightness, and richness without being too heavy. There were no leftovers!! I have to mention the staff, again-my husband and I both agree it is some of the best service we have ever received. The Curry Lounge has firmly landed in my top 5, and we are already looking forward to going back!

Excellent food and pricing. Disappointing service. Seating in the booths immediately in the door are too close with a narrow aisle. Plenty to like. Get a better server with a better seat and you will be happy

Excellent food! The buffet is varied and very tasty! Every buffet offering is mild so a great choice for people looking to try a variety of dishes! The people working there are simply the kindest people you could hope to meet. Definitely worth a visit!

The food was phenomenal, came with friends and got 4 different dishes to try and all were outstanding. Mild spice isn’t very spicy but medium has a good kick to it. The mango lassi was delish. The indian soda was just an indian version of lemon lime soda, literally made by the coca cola company but hey it was something new to try.
The service was a little spotty with servers getting tables confused, a wait for the check and to go boxes, as well as a little hard to communicate due to a language barrier, drink orders getting mixed up. But it’s all very newly opened kind of mistakes, things that will get hammered out as they continue to thrive and grow and honestly they were all so nice you can’t get made at them.

This has easily become one of our favorite places in BG!
The food is delicious! We popped in on a Thursday night and the food did not disapoint! Bring your appetite and taste buds for an absolute delight!✨️
The extra spicy Chicken 65 was a hit with my husband! I opted for the Aloo Gobi (Potato & Califlower) and Garlic Naan.
