A very welcoming feeling when entering the building, was greeted very nicely. The selection was great and everything was fresh. We got donuts and muffins and the cranberry walnut muffin is delicious. The donuts were fresh and tasty. We really enjoy our breakfast here, definitely recommend.

Visited during lunch time. It was quiet and not busy but they still have some donuts and pastries. The Italian sandwich i ordered was tasty. I ordered a huge eclair and it was only average. I would visit again and try more food amd pastries.

My last review 2 years ago was 2 stars, sadly today it’s only 1. I was so hoping I’d be able to give more, but it just wasn’t meant to be.
Service and atmosphere were perfectly fine, but what is up with the baked goods? My husband selected a honey bun, a carmel fry and a pecan crisp, I chose a cream puff, an eclair and a Bavarian creme doughnut, every one of them was – not good. And I’m being as kind as possible here. The doughnut was rubbery, wet and overfilled and the cream puff and eclair were filled with something that wasn’t even remotely close to a Creme filling, not a pastry cream, a pudding or even a whipped cream. It tasted salty and not like anything I’ve ever had in any baked good before. The only thing we thought was edible and at least halfway decent was the honey bun and I would give it only a 2 or 3 by itself. I know this bakery had a hayday and it had to be good, but I’ve been 3 times now over 3 years or so and it’s simply not a place that has good baked items.

We drove 45 minutes to come to this store in Shelbyville to have Indiana’s best donuts. We came very late but we were not impressed with anything that we got. We also got soda fountain drinks and they were flavorless. We had to get drinks from the refrigerator. Mostly what I will take from this place was that the old lady there was super unfriendly and made us feel like our money was not wanted in here. I wouldn’t recommend.

Accidentally found this place while driving west from the Cincinnati airport to find somewhere to watch the eclipse. Best donuts we’ve ever had! So light, delicious and cakey. Not heavy and greasy. Just awesome. Some really unique flavors too. Plus they had some eclipse themed donuts and pies that were as tasty as there were adorable! Staff was very friendly as well!

A+ The best donuts by far! The service is exactly what you want- friendly, efficient and helpful. They have been around for many years so they have lots of experience. The overall feeling when you walk in is HOME. I think that because they are family owned and have been in the same small town that they have a strong base of returning customers. They don’t need to be any thing but exactly what and who they are. We will be back and can see making the trip ever so often!

A little know Secret in Shelbyville from the past Owner what known as the flop cake, really if you want one is the French Vanilla with cream cake it’s flipped over and the best thing since sliced bread. Good hot cup of cowboy coffee and that cake is just a delicious delight
